'What about Theo?': Internet slams Khloe Kardashian's 'best dad' post on Tristan Thompson's 32nd birthday

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Khloe Kardashian caused a stir on social media on Monday when she posted a glowing tribute to ex-boyfriend and father of her children Tristan Thompson on his 32nd birthday.

Khloe lauded Tristan's 'parenting skills' with a series of loving snaps of the basketball star and their two children — even though the 'serial cheater' has reportedly avoided his one-year-old son Theo, born on December 1, 2021 after an illicit affair with Maralee Nichols while he was still engaged to Khloe.

Khloe posted pictures of Tristan with their two children, a baby boy whose name has not yet been announced and 4-year-old daughter True, as well as with his eldest child, Prince Oliver, 6, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. In the first picture, the siblings can be seen looking down at their little brother, who is resting on True's lap and being held by the basketball player.

In the caption, she wrote about how involved Tristan is in the children's’ lives. She also called him the best father, brother, and uncle.

Khloe blasted on social media for calling Tristan 'best father'

While Khloe turned her Instagram comments off for the post, people took to Twitter and Reddit to blast the reality star for gushing over Tristan with many calling her 'embarassing' and a 'joke', while many others peculated if the two were getting back together AGAIN. One Twitter user wrote: "Those birthday posts for Tristan Thompson are downright disturbing and disgusting. She’s setting a great example for her daughter. I am pretty sure they are back together and she has no dignity."

Many others were shocked she called him a good father when he has not even met his 1-year-old son Theo. "Where is baby Theo?' asked one user, while another said "only a deadbeat dad would pretend his son doesn’t exist."

One user even said Khloe supported Tristan's "bullying of pregnant Maralee" and that she doesn't want Theo in Tristan's life.

The toddler's face was seen wearing a ghost romper while surrounded by his father, older sister, and half-brother Prince. In another picture, Thompson can be seen snuggling up on the couch and admiring his son's adorable chubby cheeks. Another picture shows Thompson, who is also father to Theo, a 15-month-old boy with Maralee Nichols, posing with his two young children and his brother Amari, 16, who suffers from epilepsy. Also seen in the pictures is Dream Kardashian, a 6-year-old niece of Kardashian.

'The Kardashians' star captioned the Instagram post, "Happy birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles. My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy."

The birth of the former couple's son through surrogacy in July was featured in an episode of 'The Kardashians' three months later. A month after the baby was introduced on the show in September, Khloe gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek of her child on the platform. Khloe did not show the baby's face, but she did show his Tigger outfit and little Nike shoes. Three months later, Khloe shared photos from her family's lavish Christmas party, giving her followers a new look at her baby boy. While Khloe covered his face in one of the pictures, the reality star TV was seen in another picture carrying him on her hip while standing in front of their Christmas tree.

What happened between Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson?

Thompson and the co-creator of 'Good American' split up before the birth of their second child due to the athlete's infidelity. While dating Khloe, the power forward conceived a boy named Theo, with Maralee Nichols, a fitness model, as per Page Six. In a confessional, Khloe claimed that she "found out with the rest of the world" and berated Thompson, with whom she has their daughter, True, for treating her disrespectfully and making their relationship "a lie."

According to his lawyer, Thompson has been paying Nichols child support "retroactive to the date she delivered the child," as well as being the father of Prince, a boy he shares with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. The former E! celebrity admitted in April that Thompson is "not the guy" for her, and in October she told Kelly Clarkson that she is done having kids.
