CHIVASSO, ITALY: A Senegalese-born Italian, Khaby Lame, who is the world's most-followed TikTok creator has reportedly joined 'Italia’s Got Talent' as a judge. Khaby walks along with A-listers, appears on red carpets and has run the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week in 2022. Now Khabane 'Khaby' Lame, 23, is said to have signed on to the Italian edition of the popular talent show.

On TikTok, he has over 155 million fans and 2.5 billion likes. In June 2022, Lame overtook Charli D'Amelio to become the most popular user on TikTok after lagging behind her for two years. His rise on Instagram is equally amazing; he has 79 million Instagram fans and has doubled his follower count since the beginning of the year.

Who is Khaby Lame?

The Italian content creator who had been working in a factory before the pandemic outbreak is now a well-paid social media sensation. In March 2020, when Italy witnessed its first lockdown, he created a TikTok account to pass his recreational time.



 

How much money does he make?

Khaby Lame earns $4 million through TikTok each year. Khaby Lame’s net worth is $13 million, according to CAknowledge. Companies are ready to collaborate with well-known influencers with a large fan base. According to his manager Alessandro Riggio, Khaby currently earns up to $750,000 per sponsored TikTok video and makes an estimated $1 million per month.



 

According to Complex, he was paid $450,000 on a brand deal with Hugo Boss which involved him walking for Milan Fashion and posting clips online. The majority of his income comes from brand sponsorships and he also runs an online store selling t-shirts and hoodies.

Personal life

Lame was born in Senegal on March 9, 2000. Despite becoming a millionaire in 2020, the 23-year-old isn’t from a wealthy background and was raised in public housing in Chivasso.

Lame announced his engagement to Zaira Nucci on Instagram in October 2020. Zaira has about 142,000 Instagram followers and is a well-known influencer in her own right. At IED Milano, Nucci is a student of interior design. He only recently acquired Italian citizenship, and he plans to pursue acting in the future.
