Kendall Jenner and Tristan Thompson IGNORE each other during awkward run-in at Weeknd's Inglewood concert
Eyewitnesses say Kendall Jenner and Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian's ex, walked right by each other but both avoided acknowledging the other
INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA: The Weeknd's Inglewood concert on Friday night, September 2, 2022, was packed with celebrities, including Tristan Thompson and Kendall Jenner. It was a slightly awkward moment due to the fact that Tristan isn't exactly the most popular person in the Kardashian family at this point in time.
The status between Khloe Kardashian and cheating ex Tristan Thompson's relationship— with whom she shares two children—is complicated to say the least. However, it appears that the status quo is currently quite frosty as the 26-year-old Kendall refused to acknowledge the NBA player.
Both Tristan and Kendall attended The Weeknd's concert separately in LA and were led to the same VIP party platform to watch the concert. According to sources who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, Tristan and Kendall crossed paths at the show but studiously avoided each other—with an eyewitness saying they "never acknowledged each other."
Apparently, Tristan arrived at the show with an "all-male entourage" and were escorted to a "guest platform" near the stage. Eyewitness noted that he "hardly paid attention to the show" and spent most of his time talking to his friends and texting. Meanwhile, Kendall and her friends (including Simi Khadra, Haze Khadra, and Fai Khadra) also spent their time on the guest platform once the show started. While Kendall and her friends were on the part of the platform closest to the stage, Tristan and his friends were somewhere in the middle. Kendall was joined by a few influencers including Camila Morrone, who recently split with actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to ET, about 20 minutes into the concert, Kendall and the Khadras exited the platform and left the floor. Kendall wore knee-high boots with black sheer tights, black mini skirt, white top and a gold chain belt. @idolabel posted a video on Twitter of Kendall at The Weeknd concert:
After the concert ended, Tristan exited the platform towards the back of the venue. Kendall, meanwhile, was heading to the front of the venue. It was at this point when, according to the eyewitness, Kendall and Tristan walked by each other but did not acknowledge each other. That should come as no surprise, considering the paternity scandal that unfolded last winter and how Tristan's character was thoroughly eviscerated by none other than Kylie Jenner. It seems that the Kardashian family are not the biggest fans of the NBA player, who has admitted to cheating on Khloe multiple times.
