CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: The Internet is fuming following the announcement of the hosting schedule for ‘Jeopardy!’ on the ‘Inside Jeopardy!’ podcast on Monday, February 28. This comes after game show producer Sarah Foss announced the upcoming host schedule saying, "Ken Jennings will be back on March 10 and then he will continue the rest of his syndicated run which will take us through April 28. Then Mayim Bialik will take over on May 1 and she’ll take us all the way through the summer."

Mayim recently took over from Ken to helm the 'High School Reunion Tournament', which features 27 former teen contestants who competed in 2019 now competing in a 14-day special event, which is a twist on the 'National College Championship' format, states New York Post. As per Fox News, the winner will get a $100,000 grand prize and a spot in the Tournament of Champions.

‘Jeopardy!’ host Mayim Bialik breaks silence on ‘deeply insulting’ comments from Ken Jennings' fans

When will Ken Jennings return to 'Jeopardy!'?

Following the reunion tournament, Ken's episodes will run from March 10 to April 28. However, after that, he is likely to not host until September. This has left many fans furious with one of them saying, "I want Ken full time…I don’t understand why they have the switch-a-roo thing that has no relevance because people miss half a season of Jeopardy! anyways. So why can’t Ken be like the whole regular season, so we don’t miss half a season of Jeopardy! each year. Sense or not…"

'Keep Ken full-time'

An individual wrote, "The experiment has failed. Please stop having @missmayim host. @KenJennings is great. She's not. I'm not here to insult so I'll leave it there. Seriously, though...keep Ken full-time. If absolutely necessary, let her host 'Celebrity' & nothing else. Please." Another wrote, "Keep Ken! For crying out loud he is a natural host. Mayim play acts host and it is annoying. Let her host celebrity shows."

'Mayim Bialik as host of #Jeopardy is just cruel'

While many continued to bash Mayim. One commented, "Jeopardy producers, we suffered enough during COVID and under Trump. Subjecting us to Mayim Bialik as host of #Jeopardy is just cruel." "I refuse to watch with Mayim. Her long pauses and poor timing kill the momentum of the show. She’s there - I’m not," wrote another with one more saying, "Stopped watching when they constantly have her host the show. Not the least bit entertaining and can sound condescending at times. I'd rather see Jennings get full time host."

Mayim Bialik called first round of game show 'Single Jeopardy!'

However, this is not the first time that Mayim has been slammed. In a February 2022 episode, she called the first round of the game 'Single Jeopardy!' instead of 'Jeopardy!' To which, she defended by saying, as per Yahoo!, "People care a lot. I get it. And I'm sorry; I'm doing my best!" She further added, "I know it may not be the norm, but ... it was not not out of the norm," she says. "I will never do it again! Even if it's in this script, I will not say it."

According to The Sun, recently, Mayim was under fire after she accepted a seemingly incorrect answer during the game show. In the 'National Anthems' category, the following clue was given, "Heard here is this British national anthem that has the same melody as 'My Country, 'Tis Of Thee.' Contestant Audrey Sarin, a senior at Cal Poly, answered with “What is ‘God Save the Queen’?”, which Mayim accepted as correct. Soon, one of the viewers asked, "When was this taped? Because the UK's national anthem is now God save the King."
