SAO PAULO, BRAZIL: Nearing his 60s, Keanu Reeves is dubbed as the most down-to-earth celebrity in Hollywood and he proved it right when he bowed down in front of his fans as they welcomed him with a heart-warming standing ovation at Comic-Con Brazil.

Earlier this week, the 58-year-old Canadian star made a special appearance at the Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil for the promotion of his action flick, 'John Wick: Chapter 4', which is slated to release on March 24, 2023. His admirers welcomed him with a standing ovation that left the ‘Matrix” star visibly emotional.

NEW 'John Wick: Chapter 4' poster indicates time is CRUCIAL for Keanu Reeves' title character

In footage making the rounds on the internet, Reeves appears to be moved by the reception as he drops to his knees and begins bowing to the crowd. At a point in the video, a die-hard fan is captured screaming "I love you" to the actor. Speaking about the event afterward, Keanu said he couldn't believe the reaction of the crowd. “It was very special," he told Estadão. "The people here are very nice and generous. It’s really cool that they like John Wick here. I really appreciate it. CCXP is legendary, but it went beyond what I imagined."

During the dazzling event, Keanu also opened up about his upcoming acting flick and said the fourth installment of the saga was tough going. "John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I've ever made,” he said. “In terms of action, it's the hardest film I've ever made. But that's what makes it good." He also stated that one of the most challenging scenes included a fight scene "in traffic" which was filmed at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

The actor further revealed that the fourth installment will be a great ride for the fans as it will see Wick's enemies emerge from every corner of the world. "The table is this world above the world; and the people, the assassins, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach," he said. "So there [are] a lot of people coming after John Wick. But really, for the John Wick film[s], it's really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?"

Lionsgate also offered up a new 'John Wick 4' poster during their presentation at this weekend’s CCXP. The poster indicates that time is running out for Keanu Reeves' titular assassin. It shows 'John Wick' staring at the view as he is lit up by a warm light, wearing a simple black suit and white collared shirt as usual.
