A year has passed since the explosive interview of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle with Oprah Winfrey. But apparently, not a lot has changed since a royal expert has revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge will “never forget” how her sister-in-law Meghan Markle treated her after the bombshell interview.

During the interview, the couple charged a number of serious and previously unknown claims about the royal family. Before the couple’s big wedding, many news reports surfaced claiming that the Duchess of Sussex made Kate Middleton cry during the bridesmaid dress fitting. But in the one-on-one session with Oprah, Megan said that it was actually the other way around and that Kate had made her cry. Meghan also shared that it wouldn’t be fair to discuss the details of the matter for which Kate has already apologized for adding that Kate is a “good person”.

Harry and Meghan are also expected to be present to take part in the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the UK. Ingrid Seward, a royal expert and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, revealed that although the two royal women would be cordial in their interaction, Kate will never forget how she was treated by Meghan.

"The Duchess of Cambridge will be cordial to Meghan. She will be sure to be photographed kissing or hugging her. She has to - that is part of her job. Her private feelings have to remain just that. Kate will not forget however how Meghan treated her. But she knows there is no point in prolonging a feud that has the opportunity of being repaired. The Platinum Jubilee is just that chance. If necessary, Kate will also try to be the peacemaker between William and his brother Harry.” Ingrid told the Mirror

The royal author also stressed the fact that "Being royal is all about appearances, not private feelings. It always has been throughout history. It is what the Queen has spent 70 years perfecting and she expects her family to do the same."
