'He pulled them out of the crack of his a*se': Kate Moss recalls how Johnny Depp gifted her diamond necklace
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Revisiting the time when they were dating from 1994 to 1998, Kate Moss revealed the moment when Johnny Depp gifted her a diamond necklace in a very unusual way. Moss told that it was the first time she owned diamonds as she went on to talk about her outfit at the 1995 CFDA Fashion Awards.
The John Galliano dress she adorned that night was also gifted to her by Depp on her 21st birthday. While the Manolo shoes she wore were described as black patent, one of her favorites from the collection. Moss has admitted that she lost the beautiful white dress that night and has pleaded to return it to her if anyone still has it. “If anyone has it out there, please return it to me. It’s my favorite dress. He gave it to me for my 21st birthday. Those Manolo (Blahnik) shoes were my favorite shoes. I lived in them. They were the Mary Jane, black patent,” she added.

Talking about 21 of her most memorable looks in an interview with British Vogue, Moss said, “That diamond necklace Johnny gave me. They were the first diamonds I ever owned. He pulled them out of the crack of his a*se. We were going out for dinner, and he said, ‘I’ve got something in my bum. Can you have a look?’ I was like, ‘What?’ I put my hand down his trousers and I pulled out a diamond necklace—that diamond necklace.”
Moss can be seen talking about some of her other iconic fashion statements from her look at the Glastonbury Festival to her first show in Milan for Dolce & Gabbana.
Moss came into the spotlight recently when she testified as a witness in Depp’s favor during his defamation lawsuit against his former wife Amber Heard. Denying rumors that Depp had shoved her down the stairs, she said, “We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did. There had been a rainstorm. As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back and I screamed because I didn't know what happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”
