The first ever photo of Kate Hudon's precious baby girl is here and it's every bit as adorable as the birth announcement preceding the post on Hudson's Instagram. In the photo shared, Hudson's first daughter - Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa - can be seen lying in her hospital crib wrapped in a blanket, all of four days old.
"Our little Rosebud," Hudson wrote as a caption, after having shared the news of her daughter's birth on Wednesday, saying that she was born the day before. The 39-year-old actress and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, 32 also explained in the post why the picked such a unique name for their daughter. "We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor," the blonde beauty shared on Instagram.
Hudson — who is a mother of three — has three different baby daddies for her three kids. She shares 14-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband and Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Her second son — Bingham, seven — is her and her former fiance and Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy's child.
One of Hudson's latest public appearances before giving birth was just last week, when she stepped out in a tie and dye dress with Fujikawa, as the two went shopping in LA. Before that, the Fabletics founder had appeared on The Ellen Degeneres show back in late September, when she had warned the host that she could give birth at 'any second.' She laughed as she stated, "Let's just say you've probably never had anyone this pregnant on your show. [My] water could go any second."
Upon being asked if she and her boyfriend have any ideas for a name for their then soon to be arriving baby girl, she had shared: "We have a couple of them and we're going to decide when the day comes." This comes after Hudson celebrated her baby shower — in September itself — in Los Angeles with friends, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and reality TV star Sara Foster as guests.
Sharing a photo of the occasion on her Instagram page, Hudson had written: "Grateful for these beauties throwing me the sweetest celebration for baby girl yesterday 💕 #WeReady".
