Travis Scott meal: Fans slam $6 McDonald's item as 'nasty patty from Spongebob' even as Kanye West promotes it

Kanye West decided to give a shoutout to his fellow rapper Travis Scott, the father of Kylie Jenner's child, over the launch of his namesake meal at McDonald's after a recent collaboration between the musician and the fast-food chain. Unfortunately, many of the people who rushed to the popular chain to get their hands on the Travis Scott meal were left disappointed as the burger did not live up to their expectations.
Tweeting the commercial for the Travis Scott McDonald's meal, West wrote, "BROOOOOOOO TRAV MCDONALDS COMMERCIAL." Soon the tweet went viral.
Although many of his fans were quite excited about the new collaboration and wanted to try out the meal as soon as possible, others who did get the opportunity to try it out were left disappointed with what they consumed. While some of them were not happy with the quality of the burger, many blamed the downgrade in the quality of the served product to the rush created by the highly promoted launch.
Here are a few of the reactions:
"Just ordered my Travis Scott meal @McDonalds what the f**k is this."

We reported earlier that the Travis Scott meal will be available across the US starting September 8 through October 4. The fast-food giant has signed a deal with Scott’s label known as Cactus Jack Records. The new special meal includes all the 29-year-old rapper’s favorite things. The Travis Scott Meal includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, french fries with BBQ sauce dip and a Sprite drink for $6.
Talking about the deal in an official press release, McDonald's US chief marketing officer Morgan Flatley said, "Travis is a true McDonald's fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world. This is the first time in nearly 30 years we've introduced a superstar's name to our menu." In the past, NBA legend Michael Jordan and McDonald had teamed up earlier for the McJordan Burger which came with Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon and its own special barbecue sauce made for the sandwich.
According to Daily Mail, Scott said in a statement, "I couldn't be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald's collaboration to life. We are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can't wait for people to see what we have in store." The ‘Astroworld’ hitmaker also confirmed the big news via his official Twitter account. Scott tweeted a picture of his new meal and captioned it: "CACTUS JACK FOR MCDONALD’S."
