Travis Scott meal at McDonald's: What's the cost and is there a toy? Eager fans can't wait to grab a bite
It is always fun to see brands collaborating with artistes to level up their marketing game and the latest A-lister artist to join the league is Travis Scott. McDonald's has joined hands with the Houston rapper to announce a new meal that will be available across the US starting September 8 through October 4.
The fast-food giant has signed a deal with Scott’s label known as Cactus Jack. The new special meal includes all the 29-year-old rapper’s favorite things. The Travis Scott Meal includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, french fries with BBQ sauce dip and a Sprite drink for $6. We really wonder if the meal will also come with a toy.
Talking about the deal in an official press release, McDonald's US chief marketing officer Morgan Flatley said, "Travis is a true McDonald's fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world. This is the first time in nearly 30 years we've introduced a superstar's name to our menu."
The ‘Astroworld’ hitmaker also confirmed the big news via his official Twitter account. Scott tweeted a picture of his new meal and captioned it: "CACTUS JACK FOR MCDONALD’S."

According to Daily Mail, the multiple award-winning artiste said in a statement, "I couldn't be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald's collaboration to life. We are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can't wait for people to see what we have in store."
Scott's fans stormed Twitter to share their opinions on the same matter. One fan spoke about the toy meal and posted, "I know n****s is waiting in line outside McDonalds rn just get that Travis Scott toy in the morning Face with tears of joy."

Another investigated a bit and said, "I’ve called multiple McDonald’s there’s no toy included. Just a bacon cheeseburger w BBQ sauce on the side. My source is from McDonald employees."

To promote the new deal, the staff members will also wear special T-shirts across all the outlets. Interestingly, the new collaboration with Cactus Jack is the first time since 1992 that a celebrity's name has been featured on the McDonald's menu. NBA legend Michael Jordan and McDonald had teamed up earlier for the McJordan Burger which came with Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon and its own special barbecue sauce made for the sandwich.
On the work front, Scott was most recently spotted in Big Sean’s new song called ‘Lithuania’ which is a part of the latter’s fresh album ‘Detroit2'.
