'You don't deserve to sit at the table': Kanye West made Yeezy designer sit on FLOOR during meeting
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West has been accused of making an employee sit on the ground for hours during a meeting whilst he was still collaborating with Adidas. The accusation which is made by an employee who wants to remain unidentified claims that the rapper also displayed rude behavior to other employees.
The Rolling Stone reported that Kanye ordered a young female designer to sit on the floor for an hour-long meeting, as per an ex-staffer who was in the room. More than a dozen former employees of Adidas and Yeezy were contacted by the publication. According to the former staffers who asked to remain anonymous, Kanye’s work atmosphere on the Adidas-Yeezy collaboration was toxic for those who worked directly beneath him. The rapper and the world-renowned sportswear company worked together for nine years before parting ways this year after Kanye posted antisemitic tweets. The former employees claimed that Kanye would praise some employees while disparaging others whom he had previously backed. One former worker called it "playing mind games."

The former employee who was quoted in the article claimed that Kanye and the young designer got into a fight before the incident even happened. "You don't deserve to sit at the table," the former employee recalled Kanye saying before making the designer sit on the floor for the rest of the meeting which they said lasted hours. Several of the former employees also disclosed to the publication that Kanye had often shown them pornographic pictures of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. After a slew of controversies and harsh public backlash, Adidas terminated their contract with Kanye on October 25 after the rapper tweeted a number of antisemitic messages. Following the posts, his account was locked but was eventually restored again.
A representative for Adidas stated, "Adidas does not tolerate hate speech and offensive behavior and therefore has terminated the Adidas Yeezy partnership. We have been and continue to be actively engaged in conversations with our employees about the events that lead to our decision to end the partnership. They have our full support and as we're working through the details of the termination, we have been clear that we want to keep our employees' talent and skills within the organization. Having said this, we will not discuss private conversations, details or events that lead to our decision to terminate the Adidas Yeezy partnership and decline to comment on any related speculation."
