LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After a hiatus, Kanye West has made a return to Instagram and shared a message expressing his newfound positive perception of Jewish people. The rapper attributed his changed outlook to Jonah Hills' performance in the film '21 Jump Street'.

West previously faced criticism and had his social media accounts locked due to a series of anti-Semitic posts that followed offensive Twitter rants. In his Instagram post, West stated that no one should take their anger against a few individuals and turn it into hatred towards millions of innocent people.

He also stated that no Christian could be labeled as anti-Semitic, as Jesus was Jewish. West ended his post by thanking Jonah Hill and expressing his love for him. "Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again," he wrote in a caption while sharing the picture cover.  He continued, "No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred toward millions of innocent people. No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is a Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill I love you."

West had faced widespread criticism for his past posts promoting violence, as well as his decision to wear a 'White Lives Matter' shirt. He later said he was "happy" about his remarks and did not apologize. Even members of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's family spoke out against him via Instagram. Khloé Kardashian wrote that she supports her "Jewish friends and the Jewish people." Kim K's ex-husband has previously disclosed that he lives with bipolar disorder. His return to Instagram and positive message about Jewish people may indicate a step towards reconciliation and growth for the rapper.

'Does he even know how not cool this is?'

His post also got an immediate reaction with many ridiculing West while a few showered praises as one wrote, "Does he even know how not cool this is." One more user commented, "Greatest celebrity apology post of all time," the comment received over thirty-eight thousand likes. One suggested, "no one let him watch You People or we’re in trouble again." A user commented, "No way I live on the same planet as this guy." Another one said, "most honest celebrity apology."  There were more reactions as one commented,  "If only Hitler had lived long enough to see 21 Jump Street." One more said, "Jonah Hill just ended racism." Another user wrote, "What did I just wake up to? Lolol," another saying, "Jonah, you saved us!"
