K-pop star Kim Dong-yoon dead at 20; devastated fans take to social media to pay tribute

K-pop star Kim Dong-yoon died at the young age of 20. The news of his death was revealed by his agency WYNN Entertainment on July 27, as per reports by AllKPop. “The bereaved family, Spectrum members, and WYNN Entertainment family are all grieving the deceased, who so suddenly passed,” the agency said, before adding, “The funeral will be held quietly according to the will of the bereaved family.”
Dong-yoon was a member of the band Spectrum and also a former MIXNINE contestant. While his cause of death is yet to be revealed, his death did come as a shock to numerous fans and followers, especially since he had just turned 20 on June 3.

A member of his agency expressed how sorry and sickened he was to be the one sharing the news of his death. And several other fans have also expressed similar saddened sentiments on social media after the news of his death was revealed.
