Justin Bieber wants to 'grow in compassion' after meeting Kanye West, fans say 'we need more celebs like you'
Justin Bieber has been doing a lot of reflecting these past days and in the late hours of July 27, the Grammy-winning pop star took to Instagram and revealed to his 142M followers some of the things that he desires right now.
"My desire is to be slow to speak and quick to listen. My desire is to see people the way God sees people. My desire is to have compassion for those who are hurting," wrote Bieber on his stories. Additionally, he shared another story writing that he'd like to "grow in boldness, honor, respect, and consideration," amongst other things. He also posted this on his main feed.
Bieber has been embroiled in a number of controversies over the course of his career. However, he does have a swarm of loyalists backing him through the years and they showed up for him with their support as he shared his 'desire' list. "OMG YES KING AS U SHOULD," wrote a fan. Another wrote, "Even better you helped me find Jesus and I am forever grateful." Another fan commented, "Why can’t more people be like this! People only care for money..."
One more said, "Thank u Justin for all the great messages. We need more celebrities like you." One more said, "Proud to have you as an idol." Yet another Belieber said, "Sweet, I hope you grow in all of them."
He also shared photographs of his ongoing cross-country road trip with his wife of almost two years, Hailey Bieber, and their dog Oscar. He also made a pitstop at Kanye's Wyoming ranch. The two artists have cultivated a longstanding friendship and Bieber has always shown up for Kanye in many ways, including appearing for the latter's Sunday services and also being vocal about his support for him. Reports suggested that the visit was aimed at saving Kanye's marriage with Kim Kardashian and it was the latter's elder sister Kourtney who requested that the meeting happen.
"Justin has been through his own very public breakdown and he wants to help Kanye as much as he can. It was Kourtney who asked him to go and see Kanye, she thinks Justin will be a positive influence on him," reported Mirror. Sources also told TMZ that Kanye has been quashing Kim's attempts to talk to him about his mental state. They also said that he is "not receptive" of her requests and also dismissed her proposal to fly out to their ranch where he's currently camped up at.
