LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY: On April 10, five people were killed in a mass shooting by 23-year-old Connor Sturgeon at the Old National Bank. Who was Juliana Farmer?

Farmer, originally from Henderson, Kentucky, was a mother of three children and grandmother of four. She had recently posted to her Facebook page that she is going to become a grandmother for the fifth time, saying “My heart is so happy!” reports Yahoo! Following the news of her death, Farmer's uncle, Michael Williams, wrote, "My beautiful, sweet niece, Juliana Farmer. My heart is broken. Now we're mourning you losing your life at the job. I'm just hurt."

A person who knew Farmer commented, "I am in utter and complete shock. You were one of my favorite people at ONB and I cannot believe you are gone. Rest easy Juliana. What happened during Louisville mass shooting?

The deadly shooting in Louisville took place on Monday, April 10, at around 8.30 am. Paul Humphrey, the deputy chief of the Louisville Metro Police Department, said when they arrived on the scene, “they encountered the suspect almost immediately, still firing gunshots.” And added, "We believe this is a lone gunman involved in this that did have a connection to the bank," reports The New York Times. It was then revealed that Sturgeon worked as a summer intern for the Old National Bank for three consecutive years.
