Julia Wandelt: US family believes Polish woman who claims to be Madeleine McCann is their 'missing' daughter
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Polish woman, who went viral after claiming to be missing Madeliene McCann, has allegedly been contacted by another desperate family who believes she could their missing American daughter. This is the second heartbroken family to contact Julia Wandelt, 21, (also known as Julia Wendell/Julia Faustyna) after her explosive claims in February that she was the three-year-old British toddler who went missing during a family holiday in Portugal in 2007.
“Right now, there are a lot of families with missing children, similar to Julia’s age, that are going to be emailing us because they would love to know where their missing loved ones are,” said Dr Fia Johansson, private investigator and Wandelt’s lead spokesperson in the case. “We do not want to reveal the name of the girl or her family because things are going back and forth and it’s a very emotional time for everyone. I feel we should wait until we get the DNA test because we want to know more about Julia’s background," she added, according to RadarOnline.

Julia Wandelt has previously been approached by Schepp family
This comes after Wandelt, who is on a hunt to find out her true identity, was approached by the family of missing six-year-old Livia Schepp. The little girl and her twin sister Alessia disappeared after their father picked them up from his ex-wife’s home in Lausanne, Switzerland. The family reached out for a DNA test to which the Polish woman has agreed. Dr Johansson stated that Wandelt was willing to help the Schepp family. "We have communicated with a relative of Livia who asked if Julia is willing to do a DNA test because the family just wants to make sure she is not Livia," she said, according to the Irish Mirror. "Right now they are looking at every possibility," she added.
Wandelt flew to the US after receiving online threats
Meanwhile, Wandelt has flown to the US with psychic medium Dr Johansson after she allegedly received a ton of online threats because of her claims of being the missing three-year-old. The 21-year-old had previously deleted her TikTok and Facebook accounts and was recently suspended from Instagram. She is now active on social media through Dr Johansson's profile. The private investigator's latest story showed Wandelt as she called her “a sweetheart” who’s “enjoying her new lifestyle.” The self-proclaimed psychic added that the young woman was understanding how to "let go of the past and live in the moment".
