WROCLAW, POLAND: The Polish woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann may have hit a dead end in her bid to prove her claims. Julia Wandelt, who also uses the surnames Wendell and Faustyna, wanted her parents to take a DNA test so that she could verify her real identity, but now it has been revealed that in Poland, DNA tests cannot be forced.

Wandelt is being aided by Dr Fia Johansson, a private detective and psychic. After lawyering up, they went to a court after the young woman’s attempts to convince her parents to take the DNA test failed. However, they learned that the court cannot do anything about that. Johansson told Radar Online, “In Poland, there is a law that you can’t force parents to take a DNA test.”

‘If they refuse, they refuse’

Johansson continued, “So, basically, there is no way our lawyer can use the courts to force the mom and dad to take a DNA test with Julia. If they refuse, they refuse, and no one is going to go to jail for that,” before explaining the 21-year-old Polish woman’s state. Johansson added, “She cried for about 45 minutes and started saying ‘they knew it, they knew it. Why are they doing this to me? Why are they do this to me?’”

Besides, Johansson reportedly claimed that Wandelt's parents did not share a good past with her. She alleged the young woman’s elementary school teacher told her she was “neglected by the parents for most of her childhood." Johansson said, “The other parents would bring Julia food and water because they were scared something bad was going to happen to her. She would be standing in the snow for up to four hours near the school waiting for the mom.”

'She wasn't left alone'

This comes after Wandelt's parents reportedly accused her of making bizarre claims just to be in the limelight. They also alleged that she was not in a good mental state. A statement released by the family via the Polish missing persons organization, Missing Years Ago, read, “For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.”

The statement continued, “We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists - Julia had it all guaranteed. She wasn't left alone. Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet,” adding, “We've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, to explain, we've asked her to stop. Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now she got one million followers.”
