Jonas Brothers host Twitter watch party for 'Happiness Continues' and share their favorite moments with fans
The Jonas Brothers decided to spread some happiness and held a 'Happiness Continues' watch party contributing new live commentary on Twitter.
Making the announcement, the trio tweeted, "Free tonight? Let’s have a #HappinessContinues watch party here on Twitter / See you at 5pm PT / 8pm ET! #JonasWatchParty."
Fans from all over the world joined in, and the global Jonas Watch Party began right on schedule as everyone hit play and relived their favorite moments from the 2020 film together.
The brothers previously crashed fans' Zoom watch parties when the film initially came out, but this time they simply enjoyed the movie along with them.
Fans got to relive several iconic moments as part of the Jonas Brothers' reunion tour for their comeback album 'Happiness Begins'. This included some of their most famous songs from before their split.
One fan tweeted, "Can’t believe y'all played Shelf, Just Friends, and BB Good in 2019!!! @jonasbrothers #JonasWatchParty #HappinessContinues." Kevin Jonas responded, "Shelf is always one of my favorites to play. So awesome getting to play it at the secret show. #JonasWatchParty."
The group also played fan-favorite 'Rollercoaster', and as one fan pointed out, "@JonasBrothers if your soul doesn't briefly leave your body during Rollercoaster, then what's the point?? #JonasWatchParty."
And naturally, they made sure to include their comeback hit song 'Sucker', and fans were sure to give guitarist Greg Garbowsky s shoutout, tweeting "@greggarbo learning sucker the way he did minutes before having to play it for the first time is a testament to how insanely talented he is. #JonasWatchParty."
'Happiness Continues' also includes footage from the secret show the Jonas Brothers performed in Chicago as part of their tour. During the watch party, they tweeted, "Raise your hand if you were at the Chicago Secret Show."
One fan responded, "No but I was at the Hershey show when Big Rob came for Burnin up and the OG crew came out for Love Bug and I’m low key upset that didn’t make it in the movie... that was such an iconic night!!! #JonasWatchParty @jonasbrothers."
The brothers later stated, "Lovebug hit different in 2019... #JonasWatchParty," as another fan asked, "Fans that went to the Chicago show... how does it feel to be God's favorites? #JonasWatchParty."
The movie also included some wonderfully heartwarming moments, as one fan tweeted, "Every time Kevin talks about his daughters I just feel like crying of proudness. you're the best dude @kevinjonas #JonasWatchParty."
It also included some hilarious moments, such as the boys' pre-show routines. One fan shared the highlight of this moment, tweeting "Nick: I do almost nothing / Kevin: I try to clear my mind / Joe: I do a lot of things.. I do 20 push-ups, I scream, sprint back & forth, need a good slap..."
Joe does, in fact, get slapped by none other than his wife, 'Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner. But it's all in good fun since as another fan pointed out, "Joe I love how dedicated and in love you are with sop it's the cutest it shows so much during the documentary #JonasWatchParty your so freaking sweet."
The brothers also often got fans to sing along with them at their shows, but one fan, in particular, takes the cake. The group tweeted, "Never forget when @rebekahswiftie nailed it on Gotta Find You in Vancouver. #JonasWatchParty."
The fan responded, "Happiness Continues is my favorite movie of 2020 and I can’t thank the boys enough for giving me the best moment of my life."
