MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Jonah Hill kept it casual in a yellow plaid shirt and cropped olive drab trousers as he stepped out to shop in Malibu, California on Wednesday, March 22. The 39-year-old actor was reportedly browsing for glasses during his shopping run. He was seen rocking a pair of black padded boots for the outing.

The ‘21 Jump Street’ actor kept a long beard while sticking to his natural hairstyle with his platinum locks. He accessorized his stylish look with a pair of brown glasses and a silver watch. In one of the snaps, the 'Stutz' filmmaker was spotted cleaning his glasses as he walked down the street. The outing comes a few months after Hill opened up about his mental health issues in a November 2022 film called 'Stutz'. The actor can be seen getting candid with his therapist about his struggles with anxiety for 20 years in the film.

'This important step to protect myself'

In an open later released in the summer of 2022, Hill wrote: "Through this journey of self-discovery within the film, I have come to the understanding that I have spent nearly 20 years experiencing anxiety attacks, which are exacerbated by media appearances and public-facing events. You won't see me out there promoting this film, or any of my upcoming films, while I take this important step to protect myself."

He continued: "If I made myself sicker by going out there and promoting it, I wouldn't be acting true to myself or to the film. I usually cringe at letters or statements like this but I understand that I am of the privileged few who can afford to take time off. I won't lose my job while working on my anxiety. With this letter and with Stutz, I'm hoping to make it more normal for people to talk and act on this stuff. So they can take steps towards feeling better and so that the people in their lives might understand their issues more clearly."

Hill had a "fake kiss" with co-star Lauren London

In February 2023, Hill made several headlines after it was revealed that the final scene in the rom-com 'You People', features a "fake kiss" with co-star Lauren London created by CGI. Hill’s co-star Andrew Shulz revealed on his podcast 'Brilliant Idiots', where he co-hosts the show with Charlamagne Tha God. "I don't even know if I should share this s*** but in the final scene, they don't even kiss. It's CGI," Shulz told Charlamagne. "Swear to God, son. I'm there, I'm watching the wedding and I see them going for the kiss and their faces stop like this far,' he went on, holding his hands' inches apart. And I'm like: 'I wonder how they're gonna play that in the movie – oh, they're probably just gonna cut right there.' But in the movie, you can see their faces come close, and then you can see their faces morph a little bit into a fake kiss," he recalled.
