Joe Rogan isn't dead, but he's the target of another death rumor on Twitter on April 6, which has turned into a meme. After a number of tweets regarding his false death began spreading, the controversial host of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' began trending on Twitter on Wednesday, April 6.
One tweet from an account called Joe Rogan Headquarters @joerogannhq reads, "We are saddened to announce the passing of Joe Rogan. He died peacefully in his home this afternoon, we will provide more details as they arrive, with respect to his family's wishes."

"The entire UFC family is devastated to hear of Joe Rogan's passing," another false screenshotted tweet purporting to have been made by the official UFC account and signed by Dana White read, "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family she loved ones (sic), and we will make sure to continue his legacy."

One prankster circulated what they claimed was a statement from Rogan's family announcing his death, which says in part: "Joe accomplished so much during his short time here and we take solace in knowing that he inspired so many of you as much as he was able to inspire us."

Another user claimed: "Wait is Joe Rogan actually dead? Does this mean i have to go to college now?!!" On Tuesday night, Rogan himself seemed to mock the prank, tweeting, "I'm pregnant."

Rogan threatened to stop podcasting if he has to "walk on eggshells" in recent months, as the controversial host vented against the heightened scrutiny of 'The Joe Rogan Experience'. In a new episode of his show, the 54-year-old announced, "I will quit." Rogan told his guest, Josh Barnett, an MMA fighter, "If it gets to a point that I can't do it anymore, where I have to do it in some sort of weird way where I walk on eggshells and mind my p's and q's, f*** that!"
