Sharon Stone has slammed Joe Rogan's podcast and thinks that his new attitude to Covid-19 will be nothing more than lip service if he continues to spread misinformation. She adds that he just needs to clarify one thing. Stone doesn't buy Rogan and Spotify's new plan, which includes a disclaimer at the start of each episode and a "mainstream" counterpoint to heated Covid viewpoints.

The only "disclaimer" Stone wants from Rogan is admitting that he is an "a*****e." His interviews and Covid theories, in her opinion, have already cost individuals their lives. Stone says she has had some experience with contagious diseases, especially HIV, and has witnessed the horrors of lethal infections while working with world-renowned doctors and scientists, including Dr Anthony Fauci.

Sharon Stone slammed for ignoring Jonah Hill's request on his post: 'Can you read?'

When it comes to Covid, Stone takes it very seriously. Her grandmother and godmother both died after they got Covid-19, while her sister and her sister's husband were both hospitalized. She believes Rogan's opinions on Covid have significant repercussions, making it a matter of life and death.

Stone told TMZ, "Covid is not an opinion-based situation and Mr Rogan thinking that his opinion or disclaimer for the lives he personally has affected and caused losses of — it's not an opinion."

"Mr Rogan is risking people's lives with his idiocy and his professing that his thoughts about Covid are opinions."  She went on to say, "Infectious diseases are science and they are fact-based situations so the pretense that these are opinions is dangerous. He should put a disclaimer that he's an a*****e and that his behavior is dangerous and affecting people's lives and deaths."

One Twitter user responded to Sharon Stone's TMZ interview by tweeting, "Mad respect for @sharonstone this exceptional woman who has such a profound rightness for WHO and WHAT is wrong with our world and continues to have the GUTS to speak up…and then there is @joerogan who is the bottom feeder of free & open societal discourse."

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek issued a statement on Sunday, January 30, saying that the firm was working on adding a content advisory to any podcast episode that referenced Covid-19. Despite this assurance, the White House has claimed that "more can be done" by the firm, and musicians such as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Graham Nash have urged that their music be withdrawn from the platform.

There are also supporters of Joe Rogan who have resorted to Twitter to express their views. One tweet read, "Please please please cancel your Spotify, you’re so god damn closed minded it’s not even funny. And this is coming from someone who lost their dad and aunt due to COVID and I had it. You might learn something if you listened to @joerogan. @sharonstone"
