Joe Rogan and Chael Sonnen set to return to UFC 295 broadcast team, Internet says 'those two together should be fun'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: For the first time since UFC 292 in August 2023, Joe Rogan will be back at the commentary table with Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier. Din Thomas will serve as a cage-side specialist, while Megan Olivi will continue her role as the traveling reporter.

Additionally, it has been disclosed that Chael Sonnen, an ex-challenger for the UFC's middleweight and light heavyweight championships, will join the broadcast team for UFC 295, working with boxing coach and commentator Teddy Atlas and Anthony Smith.

Many people on the internet shared their views after the news spread across social media. A user wrote, "Those two together should be fun lol."

Another user commented, "If something happens to Dana.. UFC should pick Uncle Chael to run this promotion. Just saying."

Another user mentioned, "Uncle Chael is back to broadcast team chair for UFC 295 after defending Dana during debate against Ariel Helwani.. Coincidence!!", while one wrote, "Makes sense why he went so hard on Ariel and Francis now - boss told him to."

UFC 295 schedule

The main event of the evening will conclude with a vacant light heavyweight championship fight between former champion Jiri Prochazka and former middleweight gold winner Alex Pereira.

In addition, Jon Jones's scheduled heavyweight championship defense against former champion Stipe Miocic is replaced with an interim heavyweight championship match between rising contenders Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall as the co-main event of the evening.

This weekend in New York City for UFC 295, Megan Olivi, a regular roaming reporter, is back on the job. She will be interviewing athletes and celebrities before and after the fight in addition to providing live updates on the card during the event.
