The world has recently been divided into two groups of relationship 'shippers' for the most part: those gushing over Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, and another group going gaga over Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. And while both make for perfectly adorable recently engaged couples, another couple that has just raised the cuteness bar too high happens to be Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. The pair - that has been going quite strong for a while - just got inked together, and while they aren't matching inks, the idea behind them is quite similar.

On Friday, July 20th, Joe and Sophie decided to get tatted at the celeb-favorite Bang Bang Tattoo Parlor in New York City, following which both posted their newly acquired body-art on their respective Instagrams. The common ground between their brand new ink? Both of their tattoos were in the honor of their respective grandfathers. Joe paid tribute to his late grandpa, whom he referred to as PaPa Miller, and the Game of Thrones star also got her grandad's initial inked, referring to him as her "hero."

Joe's ink is a little more elaborate though, as it entails a photo of his grandfather inside a postage stamp and along with that is presumably his birthdate, August 21st, 1940. Captioning the close-up shot, he wrote: “For PaPa Miller,” and also thanked tattoo artist Keith McCurdy.

As for Sophie, her tattoo sits on her pinky finger and shows a cursive G. She captioned it: “for my grandad. My hero.”

Even the artist, who goes by the name Mr. K, shared the photos of his recent creations alongside a photo of Joe and Sophie standing on either side of him.

But this isn't the couple's first time doing the whole tattoo thing together. Back in March, Joe had gotten a tattoo of Sophie on his arm, with a cryptic message to go which is presumably an inside-coupley thing between the two. The tattoo was a line art representation of a woman and was placed right below a knot. Based on their relationship status, fans deduced it could potentially mean something like 'tying the knot with Sophie.'

However, it is still undecided when the two are finally officially tying the knot even though they got engaged mid-October last year. Reportedly, the two haven't even really started planning their wedding, opting to wait for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones to finish filming. But that's over, and Game of Thrones actors Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie have tied the knot too so their fans' impatience is understood!
