Jessica Simpson shares adorable family photo as she celebrates her first Christmas with daughter Birdie May
Jessica Simpson celebrated her first Christmas with her newborn daughter, Birdie Mae and took to social media to share an adorable photo with her husband Eric Johnson, and their three kids.
In the photo, the actress and singer posed with Johnson, daughters Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 7, and Birdie Mae, 9 months, and son Ace Knute, 6, in front of a huge, blinged out Christmas tree. Simpson wrote in the festive post, "Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from our family to yours." Simpson also shared a picture on Twitter in matching leopard onesies with her two daughters, Maxwell and Birdie, captioning the picture, "Christmas Eve PJs".
Simpson had also shared a photo of the family during Thanksgiving earlier this year while writing about how the holidays have been hectic for her and her family, writing, "Getting a family pic on Thanksgiving was a task, but we did it before the pajama change for the car ride home!! I woke up this morning with the continued warm and cozy feeling of gratitude." She had shared ahead of Thanksgiving that the family was fighting off a series of ailments.
While pregnant with Birdie, Simpson had dealt with a number of health issues and had taken to social media to ask her followers for remedies for her severely swollen feet. She had also shared a photo shortly before Birdie's birth, writing, "After a month of sciatica pain, followed by 3 weeks of Bronchitis, I figured since my feet fit in my sneaks today. I needed to walk out a lot of anxiety!"
After her daughter was born, she lost 100 pounds in six months. The designer worked with trainer Harley Pasternak, who put her through a program that involved transitioning into a healthier lifestyle.
Simpson began dating retired NFL tight end Eric Johnson in May 2010 and got married in July 2014. The couple had their first daughter, Maxi in May 2012, while son, Ace followed in June 2013. Birdie was born earlier this year in March.
