Jessica Simpson claims 'Massive Movie Star’ tried to get fresh with her, Internet plays guess who

SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA: Jessica Simpson revealed a major encounter she had with a "Massive Movie Star," in her recent Amazon original story, 'Movie Star,' released on Wednesday, February 1. She claimed, "This is a very personal story and I really thought I would never share it." 

"The whole period was very surreal," Simpson said, adding, "There were times I had a lot of fun, don't get me wrong! But a lot of the time it felt isolated because I am someone who likes to deeply connect with people and I didn't know who was trustworthy and who was not," per People. She is now married to former football player Eric Johnson, with whom she shares daughters Maxwell, 10, and three-year-old Birdie, and son, nine-year-old Ace.

In her book, Simpson writes, "I will tell you this… he is still a movie star!" She referred to a night at an MTV party where she met the star through her bodyguard. Simpson continued, "I saw his face suddenly brighten at someone behind me, and I turned to see the packed crowd somehow parting as a massive movie star walked toward us in jeans and a T-shirt. My bodyguard had said they were friends, but I'd wondered if he had maybe been exaggerating. Judging by the clenched handshake bro hug, the love was real." 

Simpson continued, "'This is Jessica,' my bodyguard said. 'I know,' said the Movie Star. He gave me a different hug; a modified celebrity embrace he held a few seconds longer than I expected. As our mutual friend, my bodyguard talked, this megastar, who I grew up thinking was so hot, eyeballed me up and down. Like he was undressing me with his eyes, which was fine because I had plenty of reasons to ditch that outfit and change."

Elaborating on the episode, she wrote, "Movie Star started on small talk, and as he leaned in, I had the presence of mind to know, 'Oh, this is what it's like to be hit on.' Because, other than my ex-boyfriend, no man had ever been so upfront about looking at me in a provocative way. At least I wanted to look at me that way. He placed a hand on my hip and leaned in so I could hear him better. Only he talked even softer."

She added, "I felt a funny feeling. I watched his lips move, but the rest of the world was in a dreamy focus. I was a big reader to make up for dropping out of high school, so I had read enough of Jane Austen and the Brontë sisters to know what was happening. This wasn't love, but it was something dreamy. This is what they talk about when they talk about swooning, I thought. This is one of those swoon moments. This was different than the guilty butterflies that boys my age brought on when I thought something might be possible. This was real. And I wasn't ready. I fled Movie Star. I made some excuses and acted like Cinderella in bad booties. I wish I could say I was playing it cool. I later found out this was seen as 'playing hard to get.'"

According to Page Six, she wrote that she had met the man in his hotel room where he kissed her. The singer wrote, "I felt this warm rush all the way down my body, to the tips of my toes in my wedges," continuing, "He texted me throughout the awards show. The event was so huge that it made me feel special that every beautiful woman in Hollywood was there and he wanted me. In fact, there was one other beautiful woman in his life: his girlfriend."

"Shortly after, I saw a photo of Movie Star on a red carpet with her. I was never ever in a million years going to be the other woman," Simpson wrote, adding, "Whereas a lot of guys were told by their management teams to steer clear of me or get sucked into my fame vortex, he was a seasoned vet in Hollywood, with a fame that was much greater than mine. He had already achieved levels of success that nobody would ever obtain, so he didn't really have people telling him what to do. And I actually liked that about him. He was very authentic."

Simpson then wrote, "There was some drama between them, and I was not going to be a part of it anymore. I experienced him in a really fun physical and flirtatious surface way, but now I would be sinning against every woman in the world, and that didn't feel good but we didn't have sex."

She continued, "He had lied to me, saying I was the only one, but I was honest with myself. So, maybe, going forward, I didn't need to feel as insecure as I thought I was. That was the first time I ever felt truly empowered since I was married, and it was mine alone."

"I needed a trophy for this achievement, so I took the pillowcase he slept on. I didn't care if it was creepy or if he had to pay for it... and it would send the message: this was fun, but now I have a memory of you," she wrote. Later the "Movie Star" called her, but she didn't pick up and he asked on the voicemail, "Why would you leave me. I can't believe you just up and left me like this," as per Yahoo.
