LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Hawkeye' actor Jeremy Renner is finally able to stand on his two feet. For the first time since the horrifying snow plow accident of the New Year’s Day, the Marvel star can be seen walking with the help of a state of the art machine equipped with modern technology that decreases the carried by his legs to just 40 per cent of actual weight.

The ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ star shared a short clip of him walking using the anti-gravity treadmill with the caption, “I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will. #minduful #intended #recovery.”

What happened to Jeremy Renner?

The ‘Rennervations’ star has had two surgeries for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries since being crushed by a 14,330lb snowplow near his Nevada home on New Year's Day. Renner was using his plough to help clear the driveway so his nephew was able to get his car back. It was when the vehicle started sliding down the street, the ‘S.W.A.T.’ star left the cab. Then the two times Oscar nominee realized his snowplow was about to strike his nephew and he attempted to re-enter the cab to divert its course, but was pulled under its left side track and run over.

Three days after the accident, Renner took to his Instagram to give his fans a health update saying, "Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all".

'You are a warrior and the strongest avenger'

The short clip garnered almost 40k likes and more than 300 comments. While some of the comments celebrated Renner's recovery, there were some comments also mentioning dissatisfaction with the general healthcare of the nation. "This was the biggest challenge after my work related accident. Worked since I was 15, of a sudden I had to find something else to keep me occupied. Hopefully you recover from your accident fully and figure out the future. I didn’t had that nice “bubble “ to walk in like you do," one social media user wrote. "Think of all those people that don’t have the funds for these kinds of things. Maybe when you are finished and up and about you can donate this equipment to those less fortunate and unable to repair themselves without these means," commented the second.

"Awesome keep up the hard work, I hope to see you in Mayor of Kingstown again, Your acting is just becoming elite status in my opinion and the world would be lessened if you were to not act any longer. Love from Virginia," cheered one fan. Another said, "The media was full of rumour that Renner will never walk again. Some said one leg is amputated already. Such disaster mongering. What a great feeling to see such recovery". "Listen to your body - it’s an amazing machine that will tell you when your pushing too hard. Of course I also get the impression you’re now going to try walking every waking second. As a nurse … I smell stubborn patient," said a nurse. "Hope someday you tell your recovery story in more detail. Your determination and will are so inspirational. Most people don't even do the minimum to help their recovery, think therapy sessions will fix it and don't put in the real work! Rennervations mobile therapy units needed," said another fan
