RENO, NEVADA: While sharing a photo from his physical therapy session, actor Jeremy Renner, 52 on Saturday 21 January said that he is hopeful that his broken bones will grow stronger. Renner was released from the hospital earlier this week following the 14000-pound snowplow incident which nearly killed him.

In the picture, a physical therapist is seen bending Renner's knee while he lays on his stomach with his hands crossed and his head resting on the bed's pillows.

"Morning workouts, and resolutions all changed this particular new year," Renner captioned the post on Instagram. His post further stated, "Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love ❤️ I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all".

He further said, "These 30-plus broken bones will mend, and grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all 🙏❤️🙏."

Several celebrities sent Renner well wishes, including the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Heidi Klum. Hemsworth, who worked with Renner in the Avenger movies, wrote, "You're a champion mate! We love you." Klum wrote, "Sending you love." Actress Eiza Gonzalez said, "You got this J," while singer Sam Feldt wrote, "Sending much love mate."

On January 1, Renner was hit by a snowplow while helping a family member's car out of the snow. He was flown to the hospital by helicopter from his mansion near Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Following his release from the hospital, his family and friends shared an update stating it could take two years for actors' injuries to heal.

"It's much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there," a source told RadarOnline. "The right side of Jeremy’s chest was crushed, and his upper torso had collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury.”

Reacting to the photo shared by Renner, social media users praised the star by commenting on his post. "Godamn. You’re a tough man, old friend. Sending you good thoughts for your trip back", Seamus Dever wrote on Twitter. Another user said, "Get better soon Hawkeye! We are sending healing thoughts your way!" Sarah O'Connell wrote, "You’re amazing. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery." Jessica Johnson, a user wrote, "Take everything one step at a time. I will continue to think and pray for you and your family every day. Get well soon."
