Jeremy Renner says ex-wife Sonni Pacheco sent naked pictures of him to custody evaluator to cause him 'extreme embarrassment'
Jeremy Renner has brought fresh claims against his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco saying she sent naked pictures of him to a custody evaluator with the sole purpose of humiliating him. According to the Avengers star, his former partner is obsessed with sex with passed on nude photos of him to the court official who was assessing the couple's fitness to parent their six-year-old daughter Ava, Metro reports.
As MEAWW reported earlier, Pacheco claimed Renner had threatened to kill her while he was on cocaine and alcohol. The 'American Pie' actress also claimed Renner put a gun in his mouth in a separate incident and said he would kill himself and fired the gun into the ceiling while Ava was asleep in her bedroom.
The embattled couple split in 2014 after less than a year of marriage, and have since shared the custody of daughter. However, Pacheco has now branded Renner as an unfit parent and that she should care for her full time, saying her father's home in unsafe for her.
Meanwhile, Renner fired back in his own lawsuit, saying she is bitter they broke up and is only acting out of spite. He clarified he does not abuse drugs or alcohol and that he recently submitted a random drug test to prove the same. The actor has also claimed in court filings that Pacheco sent uncensored photos of his private parts to their lawyers and court-appointed evaluator "for no other purpose than to cause me extreme embarrassment."
According to TMZ, Renner alleged his former wife made "disturbing" X-rated sculptures in front of their daughter. In one of the photos, a nude sculpture is seen with young Ava appearing to be in the foreground while staring at the artwork.
Furthermore, Renner also denounced his ex's disturbing claims that he sexually and physically abused his own daughter. According to him, Pacheco would brag to her pals about "bagging an Avenger" and said she plotted her attacks on him to coincide with the release of his films so he gets bad press and she gets publicity.
The Hollywood star concluded saying she was "obsessed" with demonizing him.
According to the documents filed by Pacheco, Renner had told someone at a club that he "could not deal with her anymore, and he just wanted her gone" in November last year. Pacheo also alleged that Renner was emotionally and verbally abusive and had a problem with drugs. She also alleged that at one point, their nanny overheard him saying that he wanted to off himself and Pacheco, saying "it was better that Ava had no parents than to have [Sonni] as a mother".
"The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy," a rep for Renner told TMZ, slamming Pacheco's claims. "This is a matter for the court to decide. It's important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni's declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind."
