Ben Affleck looks cheerful as he bonds with son Samuel, 11, shooting hoops at LA Park
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck proved he is every inch a doting father as he spent time with his son Samuel and took him to play basketball at a park in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 22. The 50-year-old ‘Justice League' star opted for a casual yet sporty look to show off his hooping skills during the father-son outing.
Affleck rocked a navy t-shirt that he paired with dark jeans and a pair of red, black, and white Nike sneakers. Samuel matched his father’s look as he donned a blue t-shirt and basketball shorts, paired with black and white chunky sneakers, according to Daily Mail. Along with Samuel, Affleck shares daughters Violet Affleck, 17, and Seraphina Affleck, 14, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The former couple, who tied the knot in 2005, decided to go their separate ways in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's marriage
The ‘Live By Night' star is also stepdad to his second wife Jennifer Lopez’s twins Emme and Max, 15, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54. Affleck and Lopez exchanged vows in July 2022, after rekindling their 20-year-old romance in 2021. The couple was recently spotted out and about with Garner, who has reunited with the couple for multiple co-parenting moments this year. This outing came after Affleck gushed about how his wife Jennifer Lopez "eats whatever she wants" and still looks great.
‘She’s the most gorgeous woman’
"Let me tell you something that’s gonna upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants. She eats cookies, ice cream, everything," the Oscar winner said during a video chat with Drew Barrymore for her talk show, as MEAWW reported previously. The 53-year-old ‘Mother’ actress then asked Affleck if JLo’s exercise routine is the secret behind her svelte physique. "She works out. I work out too but I don’t magically appear to be twenty years old, you know what I mean, with perfect skin and the whole thing," he jokingly replied, adding, "There’s no taking away of the work ethic, the work ethic is real, the discipline is real, but also the superhuman thing is real. She’s the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular."
Barrymore then asked Affleck what’s the one thing JLo wants to change in him. "She would probably want to cultivate brevity in the way I speak. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I go on and on and on. I talk in circles. She’s never said that to me but that would be my guess," he replied. Drew then asked, "When was the last time you went skinny dipping?" Ben replied, "This is gonna turn into a different kind of story. My wife and I went on a little vacation recently, we went in the pool, I don’t know if that counts as skinny dipping. It wasn’t like an eighties college movie."
