Jennifer Lopez shows off her sculpted body amid rumors of engagement to Alex Rodriguez
Jennifer Lopez is clearly having her fun in the sun, and her Instagram pictures are practically proof of it all. The 'Waiting For Tonight' singer, who is currently on a birthday vacation, has been putting her extremely chiseled dancer body on display through her social media posts. Last week, she posted a stunning picture of her lounging on the beach. Dressed in a black and white string bikini, the 49-year-old gave us major body goals. She even captioned her post: "Island vibezzz... #vacaciones."
This picture has come up a few days after she posted an album of her birthday pictures. Her fans couldn't help but notice the giant bling on her ring finger, which is reportedly gifted by her beau Alex Rodriguez.
It definitely has sparked engagement rumors; however, neither Alex or JLo has confirmed the news.
The songstress, who is currently vacationing in the Bahamas, even celebrated her birthday there on Tuesday. The celebration marked the attendance of the couple's their children and close friends.
Reportedly, Rodriguez had gifted the diamond, onyx, emerald and white gold ring to Lopez back in February this year when the duo was caught browsing the Cartier store in Miami together. The couple, who have been dating since March last year, has been affectionately given the name J-Rod by their fans.
While Lopez has 10-year-old twins Max and Emme with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony, Rodriguez himself shares Natasha and Ella with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, whom he was married to from 2002 to 2008.
The most recent rumors making the rounds about A-Rod claim that the 14-time All-Star is trying to cheat his ex-wife out of child support payments.
The accusation stems from a previous report which cited texts from said ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, to his former brother-in-law Constantine Scurtis in which she claims that Rodriguez is trying to lower the monthly child support payments out of spite.
One of the texts read: "I'm just trying to defend my child support situation...and it's terrible. I have an email from (Rodriguez) telling me that he's basically making me pay for not stopping you and telling you I hate you," and alludes to a long-running feud between her ex and her brother.
The bad blood between them has been boiling since 2014 when Constantine sued A-Rod. The civil lawsuit alleged that Rodriguez pushed him out of the real estate company they founded together in 2003 and accuses the baseball star of mortgage and insurance fraud. The legal battle has been running since and doesn't look likely to come to an end any time soon.
Rodriguez has responded furiously to these latest allegations, calling them 'false and highly offensive,' and stated that he had 'always paid far more than maximum' to support his two daughters and 'that will never change,' adding that they would always be his 'number one priority.'
