NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Monday evening, May 1, in New York City, Jennifer Lopez skipped taking her husband Ben Affleck to the Met Gala. Instead, Lynda Lopez, 51, was the plus one for the 53-year-old 'Hustlers' actress at the Stella McCartney and Baz Luhrmann Met After Party with Casamigos. Lynda shared a photo of herself and her famous 'Jenny From The Block' sibling at the event. She wrote in her caption, "#Aboutlastnight Stayed up late wayyyy too many nights this week... #mamasnightout."

The 53-year-old 'Let's Get Loud' singer dazzled in a Ralph Lauren velvet halter gown on Monday. The event, dubbed 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,' honors the legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85. The fashion designer was well-known not just for his own line of clothing but also for his work with various fashion labels like Fendi, Chanel, Balmain, etc.

Black and pastel pink number for JLo

JLo looked lovely in a black and pink cut-out gown by Ralph Lauren, along with opera gloves and a black cap. Lopez, who attended the gala sans her husband Ben Affleck, wore a custom-made dress with a draped skirt and a feather collar to pay tribute to the late fashion designer, channeling a modern take on Classic Hollywood. She completed the look with a Ralph Lauren stacked logo clutch, pillbox hat, and silk satin evening gloves, as reported by Daily Mail.

The 'Marry Me' actress and her present husband Affleck made the Met Gala debut together in September 2021. In keeping with the 'In America: A Lexicon of Fashion' theme, Lopez looked stunning in a brown Ralph Lauren gown and a headdress with a Western theme. Even though they were both wearing face masks, Lopez and the 50-year-old 'Tender Bar' actor shared a kiss on the carpet.

Who is Lynda Lopez?

Lynda is JLo's younger sister. Lopez uploaded a throwback image of herself and both of her sisters in honor of International Women's Day in 2022. She was spotted with Lynda and Leslie Lopez, the older sister.

According to Daily Mail, Lynda is a New York City-based journalist and novelist from the United States. She is the author of 'AOC: The Fearless Rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and What It Means for America'. Leslie-Ann Lopez maintains a low profile and she is apparently also a teacher. With parents Guadalupe and David, the children were raised in The Bronx.
