If your favorite influencer decides to quit their YouTube career, it will surely shock you, especially when they have seen the highs of success. This is what happened with Jenna Mourey aka Jenna Marbles' fans. The influencer shocked her 20 million subscribers when she decided to quit YouTube in 2020, over past offensive content. Marble started her channel in 2010 and within a span of a few years she garnered a huge fan following with her viral video, 'How to trick people into thinking you’re looking good'. All thanks to her satirical and cute videos that made her an instant hit.

Marbles, in her video, also revealed that she had received backlash for some of her old content, which people thought was racist. There was one where she imitated Nicki Minaj, and one of a parody rap song titled 'Bounce that D', which included Asian stereotypes. But where is she now? Here is all that we know.

Where is Jenna Marbles now?

Nearly two months after leaving YouTube, Marbles and her YouTube partner, Julien Solomita, discontinued their podcast, 'Jenna and Julien', in August 2020. She suddenly deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts the following year. Fans of Marbles received their first updates on her life in nearly two years in April 2021 when the engagement of Solomita and Marbles was announced on the live-streaming platform Twitch.

"A little while ago, I asked Jenna to marry me, and she said yes," he said. "So, we are engaged." "She is still offline as you know, but still very much part of my life and now it’s official," he continued. The next update was through their Instagram page, as Solomita shared their wedding pictures. The couple got married in December 2022 after nine years of being together. What we can see is although away from the public eye, Marbles is happy in her own world.

Why did Jenna leave the internet?

Marbles has gained nearly 20 subscribers on her official YouTube channel with more than 1.5 billion views across her channel. Netizens used to love her comedy acts and positive interaction which she had throughout the video. However, on June 25, 2020, the YouTuber shared a video on the platform to make an unexpected announcement, revealing that she was quitting the platform.

In her 11-minute-long video, she cried and expressed her sadness for her actions in a number of videos that were made in 2011. She even faced backlash for videos that people thought were racist. When she quit, Marbles told her fans that she couldn't "exist" on her main channel anymore because she wasn't enjoying creating content.
