Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita, the vlogger duo who hosted ‘Jenna and Julien podcast’ are finally engaged after dating for eight years and the news has left fans ‘sobbing’ as they took to social media to share about ‘mom and dad’s engagement.’ Julien, the 28-year-YouTuber announced the happy news over a Twitch stream and even showed off his ring.
Julien, 28, revealed in a post on April 15, “A little while ago, I asked Jenna to marry me and she said yes. So, we are engaged,” showing off their rings next. The YouTubers who started dating in 2013 have been relationship goals for many as the fans call them a ‘power couple’ for weathering life's ups and downs together. Currently, Jenna is taking a hiatus from YouTube and fans feel that her decision to leave YouTube and focus more on her growth has also contributed to her growing closeness with Julien.

The vlogger duo's love story
According to Fandom, Jenna had moved to Santa Monica in 2011, with her now-ex boyfriend Max and her dogs, Marbles, and Kermit. However, in early December 2012, Jenna and Max broke up. In February of 2013, she started dating Julien, though they did not make it official until June 2013. Jenna and Julien later moved in together in 2013. In 2018, she, Julien and their three dogs also bought a house together. "We're not married, but we are legally bound by a deed," Jenna joked about co-signing on the house together.
Julien and Jenna met during his junior year in college when he began working at an LA bar on the weekends, which was where he met Jenna. "One day, I was working at the bar, and I got to meet this really cute girl who had come in quite a bit. She had a group of friends that she would sit with, and I'd seen her, but I finally got introduced to her. One night she said, 'you know, maybe you should hang out and not work one night," Julien explained in his 2014 "Draw My Life — Julien Solomita."
"So I did," he continued. "I took the night off, and spent it with her and the group of people. It was really nice getting to know her. And then we started really dating." "That person was Jenna, and I'm so lucky to have met her. She's such an incredible person," Julien had said.

The Twitch stream brought tears to many fans who have been following the YouTube couple for a while now as fans shared emotional messages for Jenna and Julien. Speaking of the couple's journey and growth, a fan added, "I feel like jenna leaving youtube finally gave them the space to where they could grow into this stage of their relationship and i can make peace with that!" The news which made the couple trend on Twitter made fans quip as a fan shared, "Jenna & julien trending like the power couple they are!"

Jenna and Julien made news last year after releasing their final 'emotional' episode of the podcast where the 34-year-old vlogger said, “If I think about it too much and if I say it too much, I'm probably gonna cry. And I can't really look at Julien because I'm probably gonna cry. But I wanted to say thank you so much for all of your support over however many years we've been doing this,” and added, “This is, like, one of the sources of so much happiness and laughter and joy -- and such a good time -- and I'm so glad that so many of you had such a good time with us.”
