Jeff Bezos might be the richest man on earth but not even his staggering net worth can stop his girlfriend from swooning over Leonardo DiCaprio. This became evident when the couple showed up on the red carpet at the LACMA Art+Film Gala. In the awkward moment for Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez was seen gaping starry-eyed, in full-on fangirl mode, at the 'Titanic' star on the red carpet.

The cameras captured Sánchez, who was wearing a stunning gown, giving the actor a hug as she grinned from ear to ear. The Amazon founder was standing right next to her but Sánchez seemed to have eyes for only one and it wasn't her beau. After the awkward hug, DiCaprio seemed to want to put some much-needed distance between him and the over-eager lady as he moved away and began having a conversation to include Jeff Bezos. Although the content of their conversation was not picked up by the cameras around, he was seen wagging a finger at her in a scolding manner after a few seconds.

Shortly after the world learned that the Amazon founder was divorcing his wife, MacKenzie Scott, after 25 years of marriage, the romance between Bezos and news anchor Sánchez first came to light in January 2019. In April 2019, Bezos, 57, and Scott finalized their divorce. Sánchez also finalized her own divorce from talent agent Patrick Whitesell in October of that same year.

The six-second-long footage was posted by Twitter user 2Cool2Blog and has been viewed over 8 million times on Twitter. It has since been shared and circulated on the Internet by a number of people, making it go viral and drawing several hilarious reactions. "Find you a woman who looks at you the way Jeff Bezos' girlfriend looks at Leonardo DiCaprio," one user wrote, while another noted, "Jeff Bezos is really lucky Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t attracted to women over 25." A third reacted with, "I mean who wouldn’t look at Leonardo DiCaprio that way." The next remarked, "Leonardo DiCaprio is out of that woman's league. She looks like a stripper with those ridiculous boobs."
