Jay Briscoe's daughters back home after spending one month in hospital following car crash that killed him
DOVER, DELAWARE: Jay Briscoe's daughters are back home nearly a month after they were hospitalized in critical condition following the tragic car crash that claimed the life of the wrestling icon. Both of Briscoe's daughters were injured in the January 17 disaster that took place east of Laurel, a small town in Sussex County.
The girls' mom, Ashley Pugh, shared a photo of the two girls, aged 9 and 12, as she revealed that they were discharged from the hospital. Pugh shared the children with Ring of Honor pro wrestler Briscoe.

The crash occurred on Laurel Road, just west of Goose Nest Road, according to a news release from the Delaware State Police. Authorities said Briscoe was driving a 2016 Silverado 2500 eastbound on Laurel Road when another driver, Lillyanna Ternahan, of Frankford, Delaware, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in one of the westbound lanes. Ternahan reportedly crossed the divider directly into the path of Briscoe's vehicle.
ROH Hall of Famer had stellar career
Jay and his brother Mark Briscoe joined ROH (Ring of Honor) wrestling in 2002. The two became known as the Briscoe Brothers and were among the most successful tag-team duos in the franchise's history. According to 411 Mania, the duo won many titles alongside each other. They were 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, Jay was also a two-time ROH World Champion and had a run with the ROH World Six-Mag Tag Team Titles with Mark and Bully Ray. Last year, the brothers were inducted into the inaugural class of the ROH Hall of Fame, USA Today reported.
