Jason Momoa has already pulled off unimaginable stunts in ‘Aquaman’ and now his massive fan following will be seeing him drifting cars as the actor will be joining the family of ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise. While it was being rumored earlier that the ‘Game of Thrones’ star might join the saga, the official social media accounts later confirmed the big news sending Twitter into a meltdown.
 
The news of Jason Momoa joining the popular car racing/thriller franchise comes weeks after Dwayne ’The Rock’ Johnson said no to the 10th part of the ‘Fast and Furious’. Things got haywire between Dwayne and the lead actor Vin Diesel during the filming of the previous part. Social media users mocked the makers for trying to bring Jason as a substitute for Dwayne ’The Rock’ Johnson. Jason Momoa has also been making news on the personal front after he split with his wife Lisa Bonet after knowing each other for 17 years- five of which Jason and Lisa were married.

Jason Momoa will be joining the cast of Vin Diesel starrer adventure drama movie but he might not take on the bad guys. The Hollywood star has reportedly been roped in for the role of an antagonist.  Universal is yet to make it official but the buzz says that Jason will be taking on the good guys in the 10th part of ‘Fast and Furious’. The actor himself is yet to comment on the big news. On social media, the official account of F9 welcomed the actor stating, “The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa. #F10”
 
2021’s ‘F9: The Fast Saga’ was helmed by Justin Lin and he will be sitting on the director’s chair once again for the 10th part. The regulars from the franchise namely Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Sung Kang will also be marking their return to the flick. Charlize Theron, who first appeared in the eighth film, and returned for F9, is expected to make an explosive comeback to the movie. The plot of ‘F10’ is still unknown. MEAWW will keep you posted. ‘F9: The Fast Saga’ had raked in an impressive $720million at the global box office, making it one of the biggest films of the year.

Reacting to Jason Momoa cracking the deal, one user stated, “Jason Momoa better have sex with everyone in Fast & Furious 10. Yes, the cars, too.” Another stated, “#JasonMomoa is going to be an awesome addition to the #F10 cast. I’m happy for him.” One user shared, “When are they going to end that freaking series. Damn.”  Whereas, the next one joked, “What is Aquaman gonna drive? A submarine?” The next one posted, “I hope Aquaman is gonna hold them accountable for all the fossil fuels they've burnt. That'd be a fun twist.”
 
Meanwhile, another tweeted, “Trying to fill the absence of The Rock, Jason Momoa is a great addition.” On similar lines, one stated, “Jason Momoa in talks to be in the #F10 movie. Vin Diesel couldn’t bring The Rock back so he gotta find someone else to do the job.” Another shared, “Wow. Another Biggie added into the family. I wonder how could screen writers find a loop to add a guy into the family. Was better when Paul was around there. Fed up of this family drama” adding a thumbs down emoticon in the end. And, one user concluded, “I want Jason Momoa to straight up play Aquaman in F10 fighting Dom and crew for all the air pollution they cause.”
