'90 Day Fiancé' star Jason Hitch, 45, dead from Covid-19, ex Cassia Tavares pays tribute
'90 Day Fiancé' star Jason Hitch has died aged 45 due to Covid-19 related complications. The reality star appeared on Season 2 of the popular TLC show back in 2014 aged 38. He met and later married the then-23-year-old Cássia Tavares who is no longer a part of his life but was hit hard by the news of his death. She took to her Instagram stories writing, "It's always sad when someone you spent part of your life with stops breathing. I guess one could never be prepared for that. I wasn't today. She continued sharing with her 11.5K fans, "When I started receiving messages, I thought it was a joke. I'm shocked. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace, Jason."
Fans of the show saw Tavares who hailed from Brazil fly into the United States to be with Hitch. Similar to the dynamics of the other couples who feature on the show, Hitch and Tavares too went through tremendous ups and downs. The car he drove, the money he had in the bank, the Florida weather, and just the state, in general, continued to be the topics over which they continued to have major differences. “I don’t think I’m going to sleep at all for the next 90 days because I’m going to walk around thinking, ‘What am I going to do to keep her happy?'" Hitch had said in a clip, according to a Deadline report.

She has since remarried an Italian fitness trainer named Giuseppe in February this year. “We got married at the courthouse today!” Cassia wrote in the caption of the wedding photos she shared with her Instagram fans. “Sadly, we couldn’t do a bigger ceremony because of COVID,” she continued. “Also, his mom hasn’t been feeling well for some days now, but she made an effort to be with us," she wrote before adding, “I’m so lucky to have Giuseppe as my husband, a man raised with great values, kind, polite, respectful, that always makes me feel loved! I love him so much. He’s truly one of a kind.”
