LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It was bright sunny day and James Corden and his wife Julia Carey made the best out of it by going on a morning walk! 'The Late Late Show' host, 44 and his television producer wife, 43, stepped out for a lowkey stroll on Tuesday, January 17 at Brentwood. The pair looked to be a in a light-hearted mood as they walked around the neighbourhood in their matching jackets and sunglasses.
Corden and Carey have been married since 2012, and had dated for three years prior, courtesy of them being introduced by 'The Crown' actor Dominic West. Their decade-long marriage has been private and out of the spotlight. The pair are also parents to three children -- son Max, and daughters Carey and Charlotte. Corden is all set to leave his marquee talk show later this year and had cited a want for more time with his family as a reason for his exit. "My kids are getting older, their grandparents are getting older, and it perhaps just felt like the right time for us as a family to be freer in our decisions," the 'Cats' actor had said, according to People.

For their stroll, the pair dressed in matching navy blue padded jackets. The talk show host paired his jacket with a pair of simple blue jeans and white Nike sneakers. Carey's jacket was slightly longer than her husband's and she wore black tights to complete her look. She had her blonde locks tied back in a messy bun as she walked with Corden, reported Daily Mail.
This appearance by the couple comes days after Chelsea Handler had taken a shot at the talk show host in her opening monologue for the Critics Choice Awards. She had been announcing the presence of the cast of 'The Bear' at the ceremony and had joked about Corden's recent omelette drama at the Balthazar restaurant. “They showed us how grueling and how absolutely miserable working in the restaurant industry can be, and they didn’t even have to wait on James Corden,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While the controversy is yet to die down, the pair have held themselves together, thanks to their solid personal life. Their relationship began when they were introduced to each other at an event for the non-profit organization Save The Children. About their meeting, the comedian had said, “I said, 'Hi, Jules. You might be the most beautiful woman in the world.' She said, 'Well, thank you very much. That sounds like something you say a lot.' And I said, 'I've never said it before in my life.' That was it. That was it, really. I was in. And by an absolute miracle, so was she."
