CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul recently took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Veterans Day to pay homage and honor the people who dedicated their lives to protect others.

The boxer and YouTuber is known for his fierce performances in the ring. He will face his new opponent, Andre August on December 15 for a boxing match in Orlando, Florida.

Jake Paul shared a post on November 11, 2023, which read, "We must honor and recognize the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting us. Thank you for your service. Salute to you all on Veterans Day."



 

The tweet has so far received around 469K views and around 6.5K people liked the tweet. Many people also commented on the post with their views.

A user wrote, "I have eight hours of work at 3 PM." Another person said, "Respect to all veterans."

Jake Paul vs Andre August

Jake Paul is preparing for his return to the boxing ring on December 15 in Orlando, Florida. The name of his opponent has caught everyone off guard, especially considering his history of high-profile fights against well-known boxers.



 

Paul, ranked #199 on BoxRec, will face Andre August, an American professional boxer who is ranked #322 in the cruiserweight division. August's stated height is 5 ft 10 in. This makes him three inches shorter than Paul. Since becoming pro in 2013, August has fought mostly out of Texas, going as high as light heavyweight.

August has a 10-1-1 record, winning five via knockout and losing one. August's opponents have a combined record of 34-65-6, whereas Paul's is 14-8-0 (4-8-0 minus Tommy Fury). August has not faced any noteworthy opponents in his past fights, and this will be his first eight-round encounter.
