CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal the location of his upcoming match. He wrote, "Orlando, Florida. 40 days," in his November 6 post, suggesting that the fight will take place on December 15.

As the anticipation surrounding his match builds, the post has, so far, received 585k views and over 3,000 likes. While the date of the bout was confirmed by Jake after Logan Paul's fight with Dillon Danis, the identity of his opponent is yet to be revealed.

Internet gets excited over Jake Paul's countdown post

Soon after Jake Paul made the post about his supposed fights, netizens flocked to reply with their views.

One wrote, "Fight in Ohio again that s**t was lit," while another speculated, "Surely rematch Nate or fight Masvidal."

"What’s happening in Orlando, Florida in 40 days," asked a person as the post didn't clarify that it was about a fight, and someone else asked, "whos ur opponent lil man."

Some weren't interested in seeing Jake's fight, as one stated, "We don’t care," with another quipping, "Mars, Milky Way. 40 Years."

Jorge Masvidal wants to fight Jake Paul

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, former UFC BMF champion Jorge Masvidal stated that he would be interested in boxing Jake Paul and claimed that he would hurt "The Problem Child" if they were to fight.

After his underwhelming performance against Nate Diaz in August, Jake decided to make his comeback on December 15, ahead of Christmas, as he thought it would work in his favor. He did not, however, disclose the identity of his opponent.

Based on what he has witnessed Jake do against Tommy Fury and Nate Diaz, Masvidal feels that he will be unable to equal his powers, as he said, "I’d rather show you with my hands. But I would bust that dude up."

He added, "I like the kid, he’s cool. I got no problems with him. But, if we’re going to box, I’m going to try to rip his head off."
