Jake Paul may fight these 5 opponents in future, could avenge Tommy Fury loss

CLEVELAND, OHIO: In August 2023, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz squared off in the ring on a DAZN pay-per-view and it was Paul’s first fight in 10 rounds in his professional career. He won the match comprehensively.
Now that Paul is back on track, the YouTube boxer has a wide range of potential opponents. Here are top 5 opponents which make a lot more sense than others.
1. Tommy Fury
KSI and Tommy Fury are scheduled to square off in a boxing battle in October. A fight with "TNT" still makes the most sense for Jake Paul to pursue next - win, lose, or draw. Earlier this year, Fury prevailed in a split-decision match against the other fighter.
Paul disclosed his intention to utilize their rematch clause after the defeat. A second bout makes so much sense, even though he ultimately abandoned those preparations to face Nate Diaz.
2. KSI
Alongside Jake Paul, of course, "The Nightmare" has long been regarded as the best YouTube boxer. Fury now has KSI as a huge underdog, but it is sort of irrelevant. Even if they are both coming off fights with "TNT", a battle with Jake Paul would be huge at any moment.
3. Vitor Belfort
Vitor Belfort is undoubtedly the best MMA alternative if Jake Paul doesn't feel ready to switch to boxing. In addition to being a UFC star, "The Phenom" has boxing ring expertise and has defeated an elderly Evander Holyfield once or twice.
Belfort can certainly cause Paul some trouble with his strength and quickness. He is in his 40s, though, and his age and experience work in favor of the YouTuber. Whatever occurs here will be exciting.
4. Nate Diaz
Nate would still be eager to take on "The Problem Child" if Jake Paul is actually interested in fighting a Diaz brother. The two fighters discussed a future rematch in the PFL cage following their battle in Texas last month. But Diaz has stated that he would much rather have a second bout in a ring.
Diaz fell to Paul in their opening exchange, but it was an entertaining and challenging battle. Given their success on pay-per-view and at the box office, a hypothetical rematch later this year wouldn't be out of the question.
5. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr
Jake Paul's greatest option if he truly wants to defeat a well-known former champion is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The two previously discussed a deal last year but were unable to reach one.
Despite having just won, Chavez Jr. is definitely past his prime and is in his late 30s. He even notably lost to Paul's opponent Anderson Silva in 2021, who had already beaten him. Paul's finest boxing victory would come from this high-profile contest.
