Yaya Mayweather makes son wear 'Free My Daddy' T-shirt, sick trolls target NBA YoungBoy's child over arrest

Yaya Mayweather is “heartbroken” after the arrest of her rapper husband NBA YoungBoy a few days ago over a federal warrant. Iyanna — who is also known as Yaya — had shared an Instagram story revealing how the arrest of YoungBoy had ruined her day completely and now she again took the help of Instagram to help demand NBA YoungBoy's freedom.

The daughter of world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather shared a story on her official Instagram account where we could see her son Kentrell Gaulden Jr wearing a customized onesie saying “Free My Daddy”. This got the Internet talking as they trolled her and NBA YoungBoy’s kid over the arrest. She had also shared another IG story earlier on the day of his arrest. She shared a pic of her rapper husband and used the hashtag “#FREEKENTRELL”.

Yaya and YoungBoy welcomed their first child Kentrell Gaulden Jr earlier this year but it is the sixth kid of the ‘Valuable Pain’ hitmaker at the age of 21. In November 2020, it was reported that YoungBoy was dating another woman but looking at Yaya’s latest Instagram stories, it seems they are very much together.

Why did NBA YoungBoy get arrested?

The 21-year-old rapper was arrested on Monday, March 22. The cops first tried to pull him over in a vehicle but failed in the attempt as he drove away which led to a short pursuit. They eventually caught him after he tried to flee from the scene by setting up a perimeter and used a K-9 dog to locate him.

According to law enforcement sources, the Louisiana-born rapper was then taken into federal custody by the LAPD. It is reported that YoungBoy NBA, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested due to an outstanding federal warrant. In the latest updates, the rapper is now in federal custody on firearms charges. The rapper’s attorney dubbed his arrest as “travesty” revealing that he was blindsided by his client's recent arrest, as reported by local New Orleans publication The Advocate.  

Sick trolls target Yaya Mayweather

The Internet brutally trolled Yaya over her latest Instagram story. A lot of users slammed her for her reaction. Speaking on the same lines, one posted, “Why tf yaya got that baby on a free my daddy shirt.” Another user added, “Yaya daddy got too much money for her to put that baby on a free my daddy onesie.”

Continuing the same, one added, “I know damn well yaya didn’t put that baby in a free my daddy outfit.. I can’t like I think something is really wrong it ain’t even funny no mo.” The next one shared, “Now why yaya got this baby on a “free my daddy” Tshirt. omg it ain’t even been a full week yet plssss.” Another individual asserted, “Yaya got that child a “free my daddy shirt”. tf wrong with this girl.” One added, “YaYa really put this damn baby in a “free my daddy” onesie. get that damn child from her Floyd.” One user concluded, “I’m so weak Yaya got a “Free My Daddy” shirt for her baby. She ain’t waste no time.”
