Ivanka raises eyebrows by wearing simple navy outfit designed by Trump-critic Gabriela Hearst for RNC speech
First Daughter Ivanka Trump was seen sporting a simple navy outfit while she stepped out to give her speech at the Republican National Convention 2020. As she introduced her father, Donald Trump, Ivanka's classic full navy outfit raised eyebrows.
The outfit designed by Gabriela Hearst, a vocal critic of Trump, featured a crepe blazer that had long sleeves and V-neck detail which sat just off her shoulders. Her navy top featured a flare into a peplum style below her waist. She had paired the look with straight leg navy trousers.
Kate Bennett took to Twitter to share a picture of Ivanka and wrote, "As I am also being asked, @IvankaTrump’s navy outfit by @gabrielahearst. (Hearst btw, a vocal administration critic, was so upset about Trump winning she designed 2017 collection inspired by female Democratic politicians like Kamala Harris.)" Many social media users took to commenting on her outfit in praise while others did not care for it. One such user shared, "Both @gabrielahearst and @MaisonValentino have got to be cringing."

The price tag on the outfit is estimated to be $3,314 (£2,500). The mother of three chose to leave her blonder hair loose to fall below her shoulders. She sported a natural look and finished off with a nude lipstick. She accessorized the look with a small pair of earrings which were visible underneath her hair.
But social media users did not take kindly to her lovely look. A user commented saying, "REPULSIVE AND GROTESQUE."
During her speech, Ivanka shared, "Tonight I stand before you as the proud daughter of the people’s president. He is our commander-in-chief, champion of the American worker, defender of common sense, and our voice for the forgotten men and women of this country."
"Donald Trump did not come to Washington to win praise from the Beltway elites. Donald Trump came to Washington for one reason, and one reason alone: To make America great again. He is so unapologetic about his beliefs that he has caused me and countless Americans to take a hard look at our own convictions, and ask ourselves: What do we stand for?" she shared.
Her speech went viral across social media and led people to wonder whether she could be the presidential candidate in 2024. One user shared, "@IvankaTrump 2024 I’ll donate first 3500. Feel good about the next 4 years. Need you to carry the next 4..."

Another added, "Ivanka Trump might have well announced she is running for POTUS in 2024, because that is their plan."
