'It's all falling apart': Jared Kushner's marriage to Ivanka turns 'toxic' amid Donald Trump indictment
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's marriage is allegedly falling apart. Sources have claimed the spouses are at sniping at each other amid former President Donald Trump's indictment. The 45th POTUS is expected to be arrested and arraigned on Tuesday, April 4, after being hit with multiple charges of falsifying business records in an indictment handed down by a Manhattan grand jury.
The charges are reportedly related to alleged hush money payments made by Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen to pornstar Stormy Daniels. That said, this will be the first time in US history that a sitting or former president has faced criminal charges. Trump is expected to plead not guilty and his legal team is prepared to take action amid concerns the presiding judge will issue a gag order.

'They're always fighting'
"It's all falling apart," an insider told Radar Online, referring to Jared and Ivanka's "toxic" marriage. "They're always fighting and can barely contain their growing animosity for each other even when they appear in public," the source added.
Insiders alleged that things went downhill for the couple after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, leading to the January 6 Capitol Hill riots. "Jared recognized Donald had become radioactive, and he pushed Ivanka to abandon her father for the sake of their own reputations and the future of their children," a friend of the family told Radar Online. "They still have grand ambitions and consider themselves card-carrying power brokers. But Jared knew if Ivanka continued to stand by her dad, all of his big business connections would go out the window," the source added.
Ivanka has reportedly declared she doesn't want anything to do with her father's 2024 presidential campaign. She raised eyebrows when she voluntarily testified at the Jan. 6th congressional committee and admitted she didn't believe the 2020 election was stolen - despite her father's repeated claims.
Ivanka told the committee that she was swayed by then-Attorney General Bill Barr, who distanced himself from Trump's fraud claims. The ex-president addressed his daughter's testimony via his social-media platform, Truth Social, writing, "Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as Attorney General (he sucked!)"
Ivanka's dilemma
Jared is apparently giving Ivanka the cold shoulder as the latter struggles to "choose her own family over her estranged blood relatives," per Radar Online. Meanwhile, Trump's scheduled arraignment on Tuesday is only making things worse. "Jared is riding high now with the success of his new investment firm, which scored a $2 billion windfall from the Saudis," the insider continued. "He doesn't want to hear Ivanka second-guessing herself over siding with him instead of her family. From his point of view, Donald brought all of these problems upon himself. Jared believes he and Ivanka did the best thing for their own family by turning their backs on his father-in-law," the source further alleged.
