The mayors of two competing towns collaborate on a celebration showing what Christmas means to them as they discover their own holiday miracle: love!

With that spirit, Hallmark presents its upcoming Christmas film 'It's Beginning to Look A lot Like Christmas'.

The film will be releasing on December 22, 2019, on the Hallmark Channel. 

Plot

As mayors of neighboring New Hampshire towns, longtime rivals Liam and Sarah are determined to outshine each other on their way to leading their hamlets to victory in the annual statewide Christmas Spirit Competition.

Coincidentally, both towns advance to the final round and the mayors realize that it is best for them to work together instead of being against each other. As they collaborate on a celebration showing what Christmas means to their communities, they discover their own holiday miracle: love!

Tricia is a Canadian cover girl model-turned-actress who has developed her career over the boundaries of the fashion industry. She plays Dracula in 'Van Helsing' and Charlotte in the popular series 'Lucifer'.

She has also starred in other films and is known for her iconic role in 'Battlestar Galactica', 'Walk over Me', and 'Mass Effect 3'. She will be playing Mayor Sarah in this movie.

 Eric Mabius

Eric Mabius plays Liam (Getty Images)

Eric is an award-winning actor who starred in the popular film 'Resident Evil'. The American actor is also known for his role in films like 'Cruel Intentions', 'Welcome to the Dollhouse', 'The Crow: Salvation' and 'Reading Writing and Romance'.

He will be seen alongside Tricia Helfer in 'It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas' as mayor Liam.
