Is there a warrant for Janelle Brown's arrest?

Janelle uploaded a video on Instagram claiming, "A scam!!!" She then recorded herself explaining what recently happened to her in order to make her fans aware of such incidents. Janelle said, "I just had a guy call me from my area code saying there's a warrant out for my arrest because I failed to appear for jury summons." Janelle further added that she checked the official county website of her area. And, it took her no time to find out that this was nothing but just a scam. The star said, "I actually went to our county website and it's obviously a scam that's happening now."

To withdraw the arrest warrant issued against Janelle, the man asked Janelle to post bail. She said, "He's like 'But we can solve that right now with a bond."

Did Janelle Brown pay the scammer?

The scammer who called Janelle tried his best to take the money out of Janelle's pocket. After the scammer suggested Janelle settle the warrant with bail, Janelle immediately knew he was trying to get the money. She said, "Listen, I'm gonna call back, I'll call you back directly because I don't know who you are." To this, the guy started telling Janelle, "We can't break contact." He further said to Janelle, "If we break contact more than a minute there's the automatic warrant." Despite falling into the scam, Janelle stayed firm and said, "Okay dude, I have a great lawyer, see you."

Janelle also alerted her fans saying, "I'm here to tell you they call me from my area code, they told me 'there was some sort of warrant out for my arrest and I could take of it,' just that typical thing." However, Janelle believes this scam was "tricky." she said, "This one was tricky to me because I have my addresses perfected so it's possible that I didn't get the mail." In order to gain Janelle's belief the scammer even said he was with the Sheriff and gave his name to her.

Janelle ended her videos by asking her fans to watch out for such incidents. She called this incident "crazy"
