Is Daisy Kent single? 'The Bachelor' 2024 finale star spills the tea on her relationship during 'After Rose' ceremony
BECKER, MINNESOTA: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 finalist Daisy Kent recently revealed her current relationship status in the ABC show's 'After Rose Ceremony' segment. Daisy is currently single and not looking for anyone at the moment. The ABC show runner-up admitted that she doesn't feel ready to start dating again.
Daisy told ABC show host, Jesse Palmer, "My life, the last year, has been crazy." She elaborated, "I mean, yesterday, it’s weird, it was the one year of me getting my cochlear implant, which completely changed my life." She further noted, "Also, I went through this and as great of an experience it was, it was also really, really hard."
Daisy revealed that she now wanted to focus on her loved ones adding, "I know it’s a time for me to focus on the things I love and the people I love. And so right now, no, I’m not ready. And that’s OK. And I’m really proud of myself for realizing that." Daisy also tearfully claimed that she has currently been 'healthy' and 'happy' and "haven’t had those two things in a really long time."
Daisy Kent dumps Joey Graziadei during the dramatic final rose ceremony
'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Daisy Kent surprisingly dumped Joey Graziadei even before the ABC show star announced his final decision. During the finale, Daisy told Joey that she knew he wasn't going to pick her. She shared, "I first realized when we were at the last rose ceremony when Rachel left and it was me, you and Kelsey together."
Daisy explained, "And I just saw you two look at each other and I was like, woah. For the first time, I was like, I don't think it's me, and I just remember that and then I was kinda trying to suppress my feelings and put it aside." However, Joey broke down in tears after the rejection and said, "Daisy's the strongest woman I've ever met." He added, "I hope she knows how much it was there and how much I tried."
Daisy Kent forms a strong friendship with Kelsey Anderson
Daisy Kent might not have found her forever love but she did form a strong friendship with Joey Graziadei's fiance, Kelsey Anderson. During the 'After Rose Ceremony' segment, Daisy and Kelsey reflected on their friendship and claimed that the show wasn't a competition, it was about who's right for each other.
Kelsey revealed that the last person that she expected to walk through her door was Daisy but she admitted to being "glad" it happened and that no one went into their final heartbreaking moments filming the show facing a "curveball." Kelsey further gushed, "Daisy is beautiful and amazing, and that will never take away from me being beautiful and amazing. I think two things can be true at the same time."
Kelsey hoped the best for Daisy and said, "There's an amazing man out there for Daisy and I'm so excited for you." Daisy was also excited and noted, "I can't wait to watch you guys get married and everything."
