TULUM, MEXICO: During the March 25 finale of 'The Bachelor,' viewers were startled by an unforeseen twist involving Daisy Kent. Joey Graziadei was given the "impossible" task of deciding between Daisy and Kelsey Anderson in what host Jesse Palmer described as "the most heartbreaking episode ever".

Daisy understood, in tragic circumstances, that she would not be picked after an unpleasant final date with Joey in Mexico. While she professed her feelings for the tennis star, Joey merely replied, "That's good to hear," assuring the account executive that she would not be proposed to.

Bachelor finalists aren't meant to talk to one other before the final rose ceremony, but Daisy made a-n unprecedented move by paying love rival Kelsey a visit. On X, fans notedd, "Well i/m/o that conversation was a tad awkward between Daisy & Kelsey.. Yikes." Another user chimed in, "Wondering what other cities got a Daisy cottage cheese commercial after the Daisy & Kelsey segment? It just feels wrong."  

One user asked, "How this impromptu meeting would have gone in the real world, cause girl, why are you at my door?" A fourth person said, "daisy coming to her door on what may be her “engagement day” is just weird to me like wait a few days or sum lol." 

Another person wrote, "I am very shocked that Daisy and Kelsi are talking with each other on the day of the engagement before they meet with Joey." While one tweeted, "So the "Never in bachelor nation history has this happened before" is both women meeting each other cheering each other up ? I hate Jesse." 

One viewer wrote, "Wow, this is unprecedented . The two women meeting before the final rose." Another added, "If Daisy doesn’t leave before heading to the beach, this meeting with Kelsey was mostly so she could be completely mentally prepared before getting told it’s not her. Right?"

"I know what I need to do. As hard as it is right now. I know it will be the best thing for me," Daisy said ahead of the meeting.

Daisy knocked on Kelsey's door and hugged her before asking about her final date. She stated it was distressing to hear that Kelsey had "validation" from Joey after declaring her love.

"I love him and I care about him, but I'm really hurting." Daisy said, "I shouldn't feel this way."

Daisy realized she was not Joey's pick on their final date in a sorrowful moment.

When they were asked to make wishes, Joey stated, "My desire is for both of us to find true happiness, whether that's with each other or just in general. I feel so lucky to have got to know you, and you deserve nothing but the best."

Daisy responded awkwardly with "yeah..." before they went in for an uncomfortable hug.

Daisy remarked, "I don't know, everything feels so heavy on me right now, and it hasn't felt like that ever. I feel like it might not be us because I'm used to not being chosen."

Daisy informed Joey that she had discovered he was not her type, and she knew he was aware of this. "I'm gonna do what's best for me, and I'm gonna go," she added through tears.

Joey broke down in tears and told her how amazing she was, but his bond with Kelsey was stronger. "I'll walk you out," Joey said.

"I think it's something I should do on my own," Daisy said.
