Internet trolls Tory Lanez's unkempt hair as his new mugshot goes viral ahead of transfer to state prison

Tory Lanez was recently transferred to the North Kern State Prison to serve time after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tory Lanez has been buzzing online ever since his new mugshot went viral following the announcement of his transfer to the state penitentiary.

Lanez had to take a new mugshot on Tuesday, September 19, after being moved to a state prison, where he will continue to serve his sentence after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The 'Say It' rapper, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is currently being held at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, as per TMZ.

Lanez had longer hair in the new mugshot after he was previously seen sporting a pretty low cut. Alongside the untidy haircut, he had a mustache and a wild beard.

Moreover, the latest mugshot, which was released five days after he was denied bail, showed him to be grumpy and emotionless.

Lanez received a 10-year prison term earlier this year for shooting Thee Stallion in the feet following a party at Kylie Jenner's Hollywood Hills home in July 2020.

As his team worked on his appeal, the 'Hurts Me' rapper requested Judge David Herriford to grant him bail so he could live with his wife and son.

However, per the New York Post, on September 14, Judge David Herriford rejected the application, noting Lanez's violent felony conviction, history of disobeying court orders, and foreign citizenship as supporting evidence.

Netizens respond hilariously to Tory Lanez's viral mugshot

The Internet responded humorously to Tory Lanez's latest mugshot, with many focused on the shabby look of his hair. 

One X (formerly Twitter) user said, "His hair look like mine underneath my wig," while another quipped, "It looks like he just got his wig snatched i'm HOWLING."

"The glue is wearing off," joked one, as a user snarked, "They snatched his perm but left the Tupac nose ring."

A person said, "Megan better free him cause this guy is too hot to be in prison."

One more user made a collage of the rapper's then-and-now image and shared it, writing, "How it was going How it went..."

Tory Lanez got trolled after his first mugshot went viral

When Tory Lanez’s first mugshot was released on January 11, it also received a lot of reactions on the Internet. 

In the mugshot, he was seen grinning and sporting what seemed to be a new haircut. Netizens were intrigued about why the rapper was smiling in a mugshot.

Most people chose not to express their opinions about Lanez's conviction in the Thee Stallion shooting case explicitly and merely mentioned how peculiar it was for him to smile while showing his teeth in a mugshot.

Some asserted that he was grinning because he was confident he had done nothing wrong and would be released from jail.

Nevertheless, the Internet had hilarious responses to the mugshot, especially on X (formerly Twitter).
