STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK: 'Jersey Shore' stars Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and his wife Lauren Sorrentino welcomed their third baby, a daughter, Luna Lucia Sorrentino. The reality star took to his Instagram and shared adorable photos with their daughter while announcing the birth of their baby. However, the critics took to the comment section and claimed that he gave birth to the exactly same three kids.
In the sweet family photo, Mike stood behind his wife Lauren and placed his hand on her shoulder while she held their baby. He also shared a sweet photo of the newborn baby girl Swaddled in a pink blanket with her name 'Luna' written all over it. Mike also added a photo from the hospital holding his daughter and a selfie with his wife. Alongside the photo, the MTV show star wrote in the caption, "Gym Tan Situation Family of 5‼️" He added in the announcement, "We are overjoyed to announce the newest member of our growing Italian family. Luna Lucia Sorrentino born March 6th 2024."
MTV star further revealed that his newborn daughter weighed in at 5 pounds 6 ounces and 18.25 inches in length. He added, "3 under 3 will be quite the situation but we wouldn’t have it any other way." However, Mike's followers commented on the 'identical' look of his kids. A social media user said, "You keep birthing the same face." Another person added, "Does she get to have one look like her? They all their daddy."

Mike Sorrentino shares 'scariest' video of his son choking on pasta
'Jersey Shore' star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino recently faced the 'scariest moment' of his life. He shared a Ring camera video on his Instagram which recorded the moment he saved his toddler son after he started choking on his dinner. In the video, Mike's elder son, Romeo, was sitting at the end of a table eating his favourite pasta pesto gnocchi as his parents had a conversation with an unknown guest.
Romeo suddenly started to choke and someone said, "It's hot. It's too hot?" They realized that Romeo had choked and Mike rushed to help his son dislodge a piece of gnocchi from his throat. Mike took his son away from the table and continued to pat Romeo on his back until he began to cough and cry. Mike reflected on the moment in the caption, "I am so proud of how my wife and I didn’t panic, didn’t hesitate and eventually dislodged the food which was blocking airway and saved his life."
MTV show star further noted, "I love my family with all my heart and am so grateful things worked out 🙏🏼. It’s safe to say we are now taking CPR lessons and Romeo won’t be having gnocchi anytime soon."

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino flexes to being a 'sober' dad
MTV star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino had been sober for more than eight years. The reality star recently reflected on his sobriety journey and what it looks like being a dad without any addiction. Mike took to his Instagram and shared a sweet photo with his son Romeo. In the photo, the father and son duo enjoyed a quiet moment. He noted in his caption, "My biggest flex is being a sober dad."
MTV star provided details on his substance abuse issues and sobriety journey in his latest memoir, 'Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation -- How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison, Sorrentino'. He estimated to spend half a million dollars to fuel his drug habit. In the previous interview, Mike shared, "I was a young and wild, careless kid, and once you gave kids millions of dollars and Ferraris and Lambos and girls screaming my name and yes-men everywhere, it was hard to turn that off."
'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' star was initially in rehab in 2012 for 60 days and was sober for nearly a year. Sadly, he relapsed and returned to rehab in 2015. Since then he had been sober for eight years and two months.

'Jersey Shore' stars Lauren Sorrentino and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino were college sweethearts and they met at Brookdale Community College in 2005. The couple met in community college in math class and sparked an instant romance. However, the couple hit a bump and parted ways in 2009 but reconciled in 2013.
Mike then popped the question to Lauren on Valentine's Day and announced the engagement in April 2018. At the time, the couple were on vacation in Miami and the sweet proposal was captured on camera for 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation'. Lauren and Mike then exchanged vows in Pompton Plains, New Jersey on November 1, 2018.
After whirlwind years of romance and honeymoon, Mike and Lauren welcomed their first son Romeo Reign on May 26, 2021. In January 2023, Mike and Lauren welcomed a baby girl Mia Bella and they recently gave birth to their third child.
